okay the rest of you Queens, I got the loot for the royal fish stuff and now more than ever I really want some help packing it, so please let me know who I can mail some too, they are heavy in mass....:scared1:

See I did feel guilty I finally got the loot. I think it was her ploy to motivate me...

Dear QOW...

Please correspond via Royal PM with the total amount of Royal Loot you have aquired so I may work on Royal announcement. We will be able to negotiate delivery in private...

Sincerely...
QOE

We are thinking about adding MIL to our cabins. Good and bad with it. She had a stroke in 2002 so sometimes has a lot of difficulty getting around. Not sure how DCL handles/takes care of wheelchairs and such. Any one have some experience/advice? Obviously it is way to late to get a special room. I am wondering if she'd be able to shower in the spa...she won't be able to get in the tub. Also, will they give you any special boarding/debarking at ports? I get a bit anxious not being able to get up and go. I hope it works out. DH is really excited about the kids spending time with her. At this time, we can add another person to the cabin.
I've got some mixed feelings. She is great fun to hang out with, just is not independent.
Lisa, I would contact DCL (or your travel agent) right away.

Cabins are not yet assigned, and Disney is wonderful at accommodating guests with special needs.

Good luck.

I'm having a lot of angst about trying to decide whether MIL should come or not....she would share a cabin with our 4 boys. It seems like that might be stressful - trying to make room for all the boys clothes and such. The youngest is in a crib, that is why we could have 5 in there. I don't want the kids or MIL in our cabin. Again, feeling a bit selfish not wanting to share. It is just we have been planning this trip for so long and it just wouldn't be comfortable for me to share with MIL and I really, really don't want the kids in our cabin.

Argg..wish we hadn't even considered it. I hate having to make these decisions. It is just about as bad as when we got the Cat. 1 call!

Lisa

I'm sorry you are going through this. She must be a good MIL because I would rather not go than share a room with mine or even be connected.

Since no one like the other pictures, I thought this one was better. This is Ethan and Brook outside California Adventure. Our last name starts with N.

I hear ya. Do you travel with her regularly? I have thought lots about including my mom, but Paul keeps reminding me this is OUR vacation. I travel with my mom on other trips so it's okay for me to be a bit family selfish every now and then. Hard spot. Good luck.

ok, I'm hurt. This mean mom makes sure her children are exposed to travel. We've seen 4 of the 5 Disney resorts so far and plan on the last Toyko in 2010. So I guess this mean mom also has a cool side huh?

Yeah, but have you taken your kids to beatnik coffee houses and jazz bars????

just kiddin' ya, Nan...you are a good mom!:flower3:

Are you taking another Royal Journey because the Queens would like to go as the guest of the QOW...

you know where toyko is and you may at your will travel as you please...this queen pays for her own royal family only, sorry charlie :rolleyes1

. . . MIL was going to think about it today (as we asked her to come up with some of the cost to add her, although we will be paying the majority). It costs $1800 to add her, plus airfare, etc.
You will quickly forget the costs. The memories will last a lifetime.

Woody

yes 4 Queens, West (Nan) East (Michelle) South (Lisa) Midwest/east whatever it's called (Holly) who is really MIA these days huh?

Royal Search Party?

Lisa I do things like this all the time... I do things that I think will be a good thing and then it gets all gunked up... but it's done with the best of intentions at least...

i said it once and I'll say it again.... I'm only loyal to ONE!!!!!:worship: :worship: :worship:

You only have to be loyal to one... but you must be courtious to the others... Diplomacy... that and Smarties are what keeps us from starting wars you know...

that is because he resides in my land...

That's ok...:rolleyes1 I have loyal subjects too, you know... I keep Knighting people... princess: princess:

I take it she's not fond of Cindy.

She's not fond of Jon or me. She is judgmental and because he didn't do what she wanted in his life she treats us bad. Oh she wants to see us and the kids but puts us down any chance she gets. Most of it was because we didn't get married in a Catholic church. And we were young when we got married but we have always taken care of ourselves, even though it was hard during those college/party years!

man you were one lucky kid, I saved for a long time to get ONE pair of guess jeans...

Well I had this thing called a grandpa and grandpa bought me what ever I wanted and was the best guy ever. Every guy since I was little was compared to grandpa.

OMG my banana is not dancing. Where have I heard that before?

Mine aren't either. But by the time you get this far, they probably will be again.

:drinking1 to grandpa
