And I would give her the ticket all over again, if I only could.![]()
She know I'm teasing her. I don't know who Rene Simard is. I was all about Shaun Cassidy. But I will say that my first teen idle was Bobby Sherman. Now that's showing my age.
yum~!See we are on the same page. What about Johnny Depp?
Even I don't know Bobby Sherman.
I still have my record of Shaun Cassidy. My dance students call my old records, big cd's. It is so cute.
Ohhhhhh, this is just so hard. All I would have to pay for is my plane tix and travel to and from her place in Brooklyn. I miss NYC so much so any chance to get back there, eat a real bagel, a black & white and walk through Central Park I try and jump at it...but I'd miss Father's day....
I was born in CT...spent tons of time in NYC, but never been to Jones Beach...you just made it sound so awesome and to see REM there.....decisions!!!!
yum~!
I am 33. heading to 34 in Nov.
I think that the Best Concert I ever saw was Louis Armstrong, at Disneyland, on Dixieland at Disneyland Night, in 1964. He was absolutely INCREDIBLE. Goosebump time. I was going to take Angie to see him, right after we met, but he was ill and the show was cancelled.![]()
I liked Kirk Cameron
Yeah, the seeds could be a problem. Is it something he has to do for the Science Fair? If so, maybe he could do a different kind of project that doesn't involve live things.
Molly--writing a report should be easy. I'm guessing she would do a rough draft that I could help her correct and then do a final copy. Does that sound right?
I loved the princess bride!
EW, that's a hard hard call.....Father's Day?!? Scott might have a hard time with that one.....but it would be a great trip if you could swing it.
I guess many of you remember 8 tracks too. That should make the young ones saying "What?"
like a science fair, not always science topics they have Exhibition Events (night for parents and next school day for peers in the other grades) that are work study projects the whole school does them, specific to each grade twice a year. It is an 8th grade district or California requirement of some sort, and our founding teachers/principal loved the idea and created it in a K-6th environment. One of the special things about being in a charter school. I think Wilson's project is the concept of the scientific method, so we can make that work without plants, I'll check into it soon and start to figure it out.
I hope Molly will have a rough draft before we leave, but not sure. Her project is also like Wilson's but different school (just a good teacher in her case) they are doing all the research during school hours within class room time and supervision I'll try to have her do as much as possible at home before we leave as it's due while we are gone, so she will have to walk back in the door with it done. SHe is good at rough drafting, but needs help in making it presentable in a final version, so yes that's what will be most helpful for her and me![]()
I'm so very sorry! How rude of me! I haven't been on for months and i forgot to say .....
