Are you being serious?

Be nice now - some people are younger than we are and didn't have the pleasure of Shaun Cassidy in their life.

If people don't know Shaun Cassidy then I will ask a very silly question. Does anyone from Canada remember Rene Simard? He was a singer about the same time and had his own show. I went to Vancouver, BC for the taping of one of his shows. As a teen at the time, I thought he was goregous too. I had my bedroom plastered with pictures of Shaun Cassidy, Rene Simard and Leif Garrett. Does anyone know that goregous teen singer too?

A gorgeous singer from many years ago (about 27 years ago). I guess you are showing your young age now. Shaun is David Cassidy's brother. David was from the Partridge Family (a tv show).

That's who I was thinging of. I totally thought you guys were talking about the Partridge family.

We are doing ok. I am missing Dennis and anxious to get home. Our flight out is not until 7:45 tomorrow evening, so we are going to go see the Liberty Bell and Betsy Ross Home before we go to the airport tomorrow. It will pass the time. Then I have another night in Spokane before I can fly home Monday. Long, long days here.

I am missing you too Anniekay! :sad1: You are probably in bed now. Sweet Dreams.

I loved Shaun as well. I had this tshirt with his pic on it (you know what we know consider an iron on transfer) and my name below it. I loved that shirt....Hardy Boys...oh memories!

I had a t-shirt like that too. We must be the age of the cruisers.

My first concerts were the Monkee's and Herman's Hermits.:rotfl2: Looking back though, the coolest thing was that The Who opened for Herman's Hermits. I got to see The Who as an opening act! Needless to say, they put Herman's Hermits to shame.

I have been aggravated for the past few days because I just found out that my present favorite performer, Kid Rock, will be here while we are on our cruise. Tickets went on sale today.:sad2: I know, I know, poor me, I have to go on a 15 night DCL cruise.

Donna

In order for me to miss this cruise, they would have to give me a free 7 night or longer cruise and ALL of my money back!
They are stuck with me! and so are you all.......hahahaha

Evil laugh or regular?

She know I'm teasing her. I don't know who Rene Simard is. I was all about Shaun Cassidy. But I will say that my first teen idle was Bobby Sherman. Now that's showing my age.

Since it seems you were all talking of concerts....my first was Duran Duran.

Actually I was just holding tickets for a weekend trip to NYC in June to see REM (my all time favorite band). They just released an album last week and are touring again. The only time they are on the west coast I will be on the Magic.....so, my girlfriend bought ticks to see them at Jones Beach today and invited me. I would fly out on a Thurs and fly home on Saturday. crazy, but it is fun to dream. I probably won't be able to do it, but I'm hoping I can figure something out.

Oh Kaylee, if you can go at all, you should try.....The Jones Beach Theater is the best place to see a concert. I used to live in Long Beach, the next town over and went to Jones Beach Theater in the summers. The stage is actually IN THE WATER while the seats are on the shore so you're facing the stage and surrounding it is the ocean and boats. It's AWESOME. It starts out during daylight and then goes dark and you're under the stars. The Theater is not too big either.....every seat is a good one. It's my favorite concert hall ever and I have seen many of them there. It's such a great experience, go if you can.

And to show what difference in music taste I have, my next concert is this friday to see Mandy Patinkin.

I thought that was a type of baby crib.

gaylean ----- how old are you?

ok, thought it was over, now we are storming again. We are listening to the FPL guys on microphone to each other.

Cindy told me she was 40 and she(cindy) was 22!:rotfl2:
