Okay makes sense now! Thanks!

Can't touch this...

I have no idea about the "karate shoes". I do remember that "high tops" were quite fashionable as well as "boat shoes".
I do remember these pants.

Cargo pants of the 80's!! I don't remember what they were called but I'm certain it wasn't parachute pants as those were Hammer pants.
Google parachute pants. Gayleen is right, they're the ones with lots of zippers, unlike M C Hammers pants.
Wikipedia: parachute pants
Parachute pants are a style of trousers (pants) characterised by the use of ripstop nylon and / or extremely baggy cuts. In the original loose-fitting, extraneously zippered style of the early 80s 'parachute' refers to the pants' synthetic nylon material. In the later 80s 'parachute' may refer to the extreme baggyness of the pant. They are typically worn as men's wear and are often brightly colored. Parachute pants gained media attention in US culture in the 1980s as part of an increased cultural awareness of break dancing.
We let my 15yo cousin roam the park with her friends. They behaved. The rule we had was she had to call everytime she switched parks, before she left the one. She always did. Now she's 18 and just went to disneyland for the first time with her friends only. She made it home just fine and had a great time.
Sweetheart we are closer to 30 then 40 days now, lol.![]()

According to Wikipedia![]()
They both were "parachute pants".
Just depends on which part of the 80's you were talking about I guess. I remember Parachute Pants = Hammer pants.
OK I guess no one had karate shoes around here so maybe I made them up.
You gotta go where the waitresses are 20 years younger!
I do not have his number and I don't think Cindy does either!
OMG you are right! Nan did you do that special just for me?
For any of you that have them to spare, my brother could use some prayers his way . . .
He found out that he has a mass in his colon, and on Sunday he will have surgery to have part of his colon removed. While pathology results are not yet back, I think they are pretty sure it is cancer. The only question is whether or not it is localized or has spread, and whether or not it is treatable beyond the surgery. My brother is 5 years younger than me - only 42.
Tomorrow I'll be taking my dad to the hospital to see him - we have not told dad yet all that is going on.
Amy and I talked tonight, and we have had family illness and hardship follow us on our last cruises. My mom passed away the week of our last cruise with the Geeks, right before we left. We had a funeral and left the same day. Now my brother's illness, and I can only pray that they have caught it in time.
Thanks for letting me share. It has not been very happy around here lately, and my thoughts are with all the rest of you who have had family and friends illness and worse to deal with . . .
