We are crossing the Isthmas of Panama....and it's a play on words for Merry Christmas. Merry Isthmas crossing day! Well I think it's funny!;)

.

me, not so much...I think you had to be there to get it, and I'm not there yet.

Mornin' Nan! Thought you gals was goin' shoppin today. Gotta go the race is starting, and the IRL race starts at 11:30.

We flaked on Marr. Steph is gardening I hear and I'm lazy and tired. The dog kept us up alot last night. I'm not sure we can do many more nights of her. And now she is sleeping soundly on the floor at my feet, damn dog.

Vanessa's dad calls her Nessie

That is the name of the Loch Ness Monster!:lmao:

The advil has kicked in again but I think I was worse when I woke up. I'll let you know in a few hours!

i hope you feel better soon.

Well, I acknowledged that we were going on a cruise.

:rotfl:
Visited this castle in the late '50s. Loved it on the outside but as a kid I was disappointed when we got inside. I had seen so many palaces by then and this looked like a fairy tale castle on the outside and it should have looked like one on the inside. At the time it was practically bare since he had never finished it. I was an Army Brat and we lived in Germany for three years. Saw a lot of Europe but not everything I would like to see.

Doug and I will be celebrating our 14th on the 14th.

I would like to do the backstage tour, too. I would also like to attend the Disney Employee talks, especially Ducky since I missed him on the 11 night.

We went to Oberammergau, too. It was really interesting even though I was only 11 at the time. We unfortunately missed the play by one year. Do they still only do it every 10 years?

Carol

Yes they still do the plays every 10 years.

I thought it was you keeping the dog up last night actually!!;)

It was a great era and I'm glad to have been young during it so that I could experience it all. I don't think you could do that today without having problems.

Now that we're on the subject.....did anyone actually attend Woodstock in '69? I was still too young.....just 13. But I went back there for a reunion concert.....on the original site in Bethel NY. I think it was the 20 year reunion. I saw Melanie.....doing......I've got a brand new pair of roller skates....Later I went back with John to the 25 year reunion. Oh what fun! I think they still do the runion concerts, but I can't be certain. I'm talking about the ones on the original site, not the one they called Woodstock that was held in Saugerties and turned out to be a disaster.

No, but they've put a Performing Arts center there ... it is called appropriately Bethel Woods... Here's the link...

I think I still have a crush on Trixie . . .

Does Amy know???

Well, considering that I'm just like you and the fact that I had my first hospital stay this past August......after surgery I spent the next two days puking my guts up......everything in my head is just one big blurr. I remember that I felt like I was going to die or wanted to for some relief. It was a nightmare.

DEB!!!

Hey you don't need to call me a dog!

I saw Dave Brubeck a just a few years ago in concert in Scottsdale. He was fantastic! My parents loved him so I was exposed to his music from early on.

I would love to have seen him in person. His original Quartet was awesome. Great Musicians.

she sleeps until I go to bed, then she gets up with me from the family room and comes to the bedroom, lays down for 5 minutes and then does the barking, door, barking, water, barking, door, barking flop on the floor, barking dance. it can last from 5 minutes to 3 hours. not nice and neither am I

or do what I do, don't get sick enough to go to the hospital. hate the place too. creeps me out, those mean nurses are just waiting to hurt you when your family leaves...they are just like the clowns, watch out for them.

going away for a while the DIS is too slow for me now, I'm bored with it.

We booked the very first day it came open and to this day I feel so lucky to have a cabin on that cruise because so many people didn't get booked that day. I personally know someone from work who tried. His daughter is a TA and even she didn't manage to get him a cabin.

We are truly blessed to be going on the Panama Canal cruise. So many times in life I have felt I am the luckiest girl in the world and this is just another one of those times.

My sentiments exactly!

LIFE IS GOOD!

So, Merry Isthmus is a very good pun. ;)

I think the term Isthmus was coined by a little girl who wanted her two front teeth for Christmas, but I am not sure. :confused3
