Deb,

I've been meaning to ask you. Are you the one who works out at the Ballet Barre or do I have you mixed up with someone else? Are you a dancer? I teach ballet, tap, jazz and danceline part-time and I've been meaning to start taking lessons again because it gives me such a good workout!

Jolene

Do it Jolene, definitely start taking lessons again because you'll love it....and yes, I have the ballet barre in the house. I studied dance many years ago.....ballet and jazz. Now it's all these years later and I missed dance in my life even though I'm so much older and out of shape. I started doing the basics at the barre in the house. Then I got sick for the past week and haven't done anything. I've got to start it up again now that I'm better.

Deb - are Lisa and Darrel coming to Fishlips?

Yes, Lisa and Darrell are coming and so are their friends that are sailing with us but they have no internet. They are Pat and Charlie. They'll be at the Raddison too and coming to Fishlips too.

This prompts me to ask a new Question of the Day!
What would it take from DCL to get you to give up your stateroom on this cruise?

.

The Walt Suite on the maiden voyage of the first new ship, for the same money we paid for this. :thumbsup2

I have a question for those of you that have a Disney Visa. How long does it take for the rewards card to come once you request it? I'm trying to decide...should I order it now or wait until next month (want to rack up as many rewards as possible :goodvibes )? Thanks!

Not long. Maybe 10 days. You can add on rewards once you get it. Minimum of $10 I think.

Very good point Angie. Last year, Scott and my dad were in Vegas for CES and Mom and I decided to take the girls there for the weekend to see them. We got to the airport early and I asked if we could have our flight time bumped up and sure enough, we were able to move our flight to the earlier one (big mistake). We were all set above Vegas...saw the strip...and all of sudden we saw black...the pilot came on, the flight attendants were crying (not very professional) and we were told that there was a problem with the landing gear and they gave those talks you dread...this is what you are going to do etc....I was in between the girls and mom was in front of me. All I thought the whole time we were landing was that Scott was never going to forgive me if something happened to me and his girls!:scared1: We landed safely and the gear lasted enough time to slow the plane down and not have us turn into a fireball...we landed out in the middle of nowhere at the airport surrounded by emergency vehicles and such. 3 hours later we were allowed off the plane (after the FA had freely given out all the alcohol on the plane:lmao: ). Thankfully, we flew home with Scott so at least we were together. Of course all this talk the day before Scott and I leave for Mexico without the kids :scared1:

Oh my!! :scared1: Makes my chest tight just thinking about it! :scared:

were just leaving a 40lb bag of food out for them and the toilet lid up!!!!

I like how you think. That way you just have to hose the joint down when you come back and you're done! What could be easier?

Hi again!

I was gone last week so I missed over 130 pages! I don't think I'll be able to catch up....so if I missed anything let me know! Hope everyone's doing well!!! And we're still in the lifeboats! Did anyone get out of them yet? Keep me posted!!!

Not sure if anyone answered yet - but you need to order the rewards card. When you order you need to state a minumim of $10.00 in points. After you get the card - you can call and load points on whenever you want to - they loading is instant - as long as computers are up. I have been calling while standing in line at WDW when I forgot. The only limitation is you need to use your loaded points before your card expires.

So if you add more points between now and the cruise - call them and they will load more in.

AT LEAST - this is how my card works...

9/11 was a day we all have been touched by. A confusing and frightening day for many of us. I can't imagine having a loved one flying on that day.

DH lost a friend at the Pentagon. Even though DH wasn't scheduled to be there that day, I still need to hear his voice and know he was okay.
