Welcome...if I haven't welcomed yet

I decided today that I wanted to do some advanced payment for our onboard charges.
I sat down today to do a projection of our onboard charges for the trip, thinking through the trips, the excursions and how much we might spend on extras, Palo, trips to Cove and fruity-fatty-boozy drinks.
I opened my eyes, having realized that I was lying on the floor because I had passed out from the projected amount.
I dutifully called DCL and put my money down. There was then a sharp noise in my ear, and I was lying on the floor. I had passed out again and the phone was off the hook.
So, this has been a thrilling day. Ordering tuxedos, prepaying fruity-fatty-boozy drinks and taking cheesecake photos of Mrs. Bennett.

What time do they start to hand out the boarding numbers?
When we went in October, they handed them to you as you got on the CC line.....so you had to take the number you were given. I got a 5 but I didn't have to wait that long. They started boarding around 11 I think and I got on within 45 minutes or so. I know I was already drinking my BBC at the pool by 12:15pm.....so I was happy!
As soon as they open the terminal, usually around 10ish
I think the CC line will be alot longer than the regular line is for this cruise.
Is it an orange bag?
We always have to pack our own shopping apart from one or two quick tills. We have a US Air force base close by with quite a few US folk, both military and civilian living in and near Harrogate. Sometimes when they first come you see them waiting for their shopping to be magically packed!!!!!!
Ian,
Love the story of Mrs. Bennett, she seems to be a very nice lady.
Deb, Everytime you write Fishlips it makes me smile,![]()
Ps. Do you want to do a short blurb for the meet and I will post it along with a map, link to the restaurant, and link to who is keeping the list and the deadline, on the website?
Holly, in my experience with the service dept at my store, it will be cheaper to buy a new laptop then a new LCD screen, unless you are still under warranty.
Gydell, I bet they make most of the lines for check-in CC this year.
Marilyn, I also prefer to bag my own, the checkers these days don't seem to care, even at the most expensive grocery store around here. I picked up a new lifetime bag for that shop today, it has huge glistening blueberries on it, very pretty. The produce manger says they will be updating them every few months or so.

Oh no, Canada and the USA are trying something new, we fell back later last year and we are springing forward earlier. Can't remember the reasoning for this move.

Very true monica, now all I have to do it get out the sewing machine, find some material, and find the time to sew one up... All without alerting the boys to the advent of the cruise.
The Mrs. Bennett Report
And so dear reader, that is all there is to tell about Mrs. Bennett. She is a most welcome addition to Eastwood Manor.
She also asked that her warm regards be related to all of you, and wishes you enjoyment on your upcoming oceanic holiday.

Holly's computer must have died. She has not posted at all for over a day. That's not like Holly. The last thing she posted was that her laptop was in need of repair.
I hope it works out for her and that she can get back on here. We'll miss her and she will miss us too.
Oh, and btw..I don't know how to use powerpoint. I have office powerpoint..don't know if thats the same or compatible? I can definately send the information to whomever wants to take the point.
Ah ha, UPS is 7 days from coast to coast. Funny the US Mail is faster, but not as easy to track of course. I'll look for the boys in brown next week...They also hit here at the end of the day ~ 7pm
Ok....question from my DS....any of the boys like pok'e'mon and trade cards or play the game...if so any one of them bringing their cards on the trip? He trades cards with one of his friends for hours but hasn't played the game yet and would love to learn and have someone to play with.![]()
Now that Mrs. Bennette has found a new home and has 3 daughters married.. I do believe that Mr. Bennett can now feel free to bite the big one... Mr. Collins and Charlotte will be at the back door with their belongings forthwith...

Yes, Yes, Yes and Yes. We could just say something like:
All cruisers staying near the Port, come to dinner at Fishlips on the waterfront at 5:30pm on Saturday, May 9th. We'll be handing out Lanyards too. So PM gydell and give her some information about your party and get on the list. Cutoff to join us will be April 1st.....no fooling! Here's their website: http://www.fishlipswaterfront.com We'll see you there!
