Hey. I have only posted a couple of times, which i am finding lends me unable to pm ANYONE about all the fun stuff being planned. ;(
Anyway, I have a girl 4th grader...actuall, 6th, 4th, and 1st are ALL girls. The solo male of the group is only 4.

Welcome again. My daughter is nine and my son is four as well.

I thought deck 7 would be perfect. This is my first time to CC and I think the ship backs in, doesn't it? What a perfect back drop for the start to a wonderful and memorable day. I also like the candle idea. Perfect to signify that they have left a light on in our hearts.

YES, YES, YES.....that's exactly what we want to do. How fitting and beautiful and significant it will be and the best way to start off a perfect day. And it's the beginning of a perfect trip too.

Yes the ship backs up at the dock and the island will be the backdrop....beautiful.

Yes they have left a light on in our hearts and they are with the light of God and will glow in spirit eternally.

Yes poetry and memories, how appropriate and precious.

I'm liking it a lot. We'll get guest services to approve it without any problems I'm sure.

Going ashore on CC is usually from 9-5.....we can do it at 8:30am on deck 7. That works for me if it's good for you too.

Just popping in quickly to post this email I just received. Too busy today for anything else.

Mr. Halkias:

You had previously contacted us regarding challenges you experienced when trying to reserve shipboard services and shore excursions online, so we wanted to provide you with some additional information regarding the steps we are taking to ensure a better experience for our guests.

First and foremost, we understand that some guests with multiple stateroom parties linked to their individual stateroom reservation experienced situations where they were unable to log into the system.
Our system has always been designed to facilitate one individual stateroom party booking at a time; however this may not have been communicated clearly on the site. Therefore, we have revised our website to include the following information.

Please note: For Guests in travel parties with 1 to 4 staterooms, if another Guest in your stateroom or another stateroom linked to yours is currently in My Cruise Plans, you will be unable to retrieve your reservation below. Guests in travel parties with 5 or more staterooms must retrieve each reservation separately to arrange activities in My Cruise Plans.

We've found that on average, guests traveling in parties of 4 staterooms or less typically will allow one individual within the group to make the majority of the bookings for their entire party. The issue we experienced stems from groups of 5 staterooms or more that are linked together and everyone in the group is attempting to pre-reserve services at the same time for their individual reservation. When this happens it slows the entire website down and, at times, results in long wait times or requires guest to start over.

As a solution for groups of 5 staterooms or more that are linked together, we have modified the system so that each stateroom party can pre-reserve their individual services at a time that is appropriate for them (even at the same time). Guests that have 5 staterooms or more that are linked together and wish to pre-reserve services for multiple staterooms may do so using the "Retrieve Another Reservation" function.

I hope this information proves helpful. We appreciate your feedback and will continue to monitor our guests' booking patterns and make future adjustments as necessary. If you have any further questions, please let us know. We look forward to your upcoming voyage.
Sincerely,

George

That would be a lot better! Oh well...I have to make sure I have his bag packed, sleeping bag, etc all ready. Because I know when we get home, I will not want to focus on that!

Does anyone ever get blue thinking about that day when it will be all over?:sad1:
Lisa

I don't even want to think about it. I will be so sad. That's why I had to do a little Disneyland trip too. Something to look forward to and cheer me up a little, but best believe I will cry when they drag me off the ship.:sad2:

All my bags are here, I'm ready to go......I got my big duffle luggage bag and my tote and 9 pack cooler bag both for excursions.

Just waiting on the new dresses now. John got his purple tux shirt to match my new gown.....no pink, purple now.

I ordered 4 pairs of capri pants.....same style different colors. I can wear them to dinner with cruise casual shirts inbetween sundresses. I already have the tops and the dresses and I have plenty of shorts and cover up dresses to go over the bathing suits. I'm set and ready to go. Two more months, just two more months. I'm so psyched! We're getting so very close now.

Leanne (ozdisneyfan) - I just had to share some of my funny memories of my first few months in Australia. When I first went to Australia, I thought that the XXXX stuff was really, super-duty, bad "Adult" stuff. I thought Australia was one up on the USA "Adult" stuff because they had an extra X!!!!

And once when I went to the grocery store with my host family in Australia, I asked where the pop was. They told me later they thought I was asking about some type of drug. :confused3

But my favorite was when I filled up my car at a gas station and I asked them if they had a bathroom I could use. The guy replied, "No, we just have a toilet/loo." I was like What??? I later found out that in Queensland, most people consider a bathroom as having a shower or bathtub in it, otherwise it is just a toilet or loo. I guess the guy thought I was wanting to take a shower or something. . . :rolleyes1

Gotta love it!

Jolene

We UK folk only use the term bathroom for the room that has the bath/shower in even if it doesn't have a toilet, or loo as we more common folk call it!

We don't use the term restroom which is a very odd term really isn't it!!!:lmao: Some shops/restaurants call the ladies loos the 'Ladies Powder Room'!!!:rotfl2:

An old fashioned term still used sometimes is w.c.(water closet:laughing: )

Of course there are many other terms best not mentioned here.;)

Drum Roll Please.....da da da da da da......the Official......the one and only......the thing you have all been waiting for.......the CHAMPAGNE GIRLS updated list!!! This is a final!

If anything is incorrect, please PM me and I will fix. We are 41 total and finished.....the club is closed. We'll be having our little party on PC crossing day at 4pm. Not sure where yet. We will let you know as it gets closer.

Now, tell me what is a 'CHUGGER'!!! Perhaps I can guess.:lmao:

Can you believe it? Another form letter!

I will await that one now then.:confused3

I am planning on a big shop in April. Still hope to lose a few lbs for then.:)

I have to unpack, wash and repack and I'm ready to go.

Gydell, do you want to go now and get a head start on everyone else, since we're ready to go I mean.

Sounds good, maybe if we book for next week we can get a room #. I do have a trip to St Maartin the 7th of April for 6 days. So that will break up the wait some!

Marilyn....V is a chugger. She doesn't sip and she doesn't drink to taste, but she belts it down and guzzles it. I think you guessed correctly.:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Now that's what I call the way to wait it out.....just go on more trips inbetween while you're waiting.....NICE!!!

Deb how many duffles did you get? I have 3 but don't know if one is too big. Between the 4 of us I am hoping to take 6 bags total. 5 if I can squeeze things in. Then Bill can take 2 when he leaves in Aca.

We started the tanning bed this week. I love to lay in the heat!

Thank goodness I tan quickly. John and I sit at the pool at the hotel before getting on the ship and then we're not winter white when we get onboard.

St Maartin wasn't planned. Bill won it with his company and that's when we have to go. Maybe I'll greet the Magic when it comes into St. Maartin! And then again maybe I'll just stay at the pool.
