Had a great visit with Cheri (2 hour lunch)...we talked about you guys.....hehe.

.

Mmmmmm, our very ofwn gossipgirls!

They probably are plastic so I'll bring waterproof tape.

There are 90 villas - 3 bedrooms each - we should be able to squeeze in. $3500 a night!

I plan to buy this:

And this:

What are they? Never mind, whatever they are I want them!!:)

Marilyn, good to hear you are ok.
Did you know it was an earthquake or did the news have to tell you? I was thinking that since you don't get them that it might not have occurred to anyone that it was actually an earthquake. We have had a few and felt them but didn't realize what they were, until we heard on the news.

Pj

John at first thought I was having a dream, but then realised what it was! Rpoorts were that some folk thought a lorry had crashed into their house, there had been a terrorist attack, the local chemical plant had had an explosion etc.

We have always had earthquakes, but they must not have been big enough to mention. I think the one in '85 or '86 was the first I had heard about.

Same with tornados - never knew we had them till a few years ago and now they are photographed fairly regularly. Nothing like those in the US fortunately.

Mike is still in the lifeboat, too, and we are still waiting to hear about our upgrade! I should have called today, but I was running around all day! Didn't accomplish much, though.

I did buy a black sleeveless shell with shiny black sequines all over the front at Beall's for 70% off and then I got 15% more off today for being over 50!!! Being old is SOOO GREAT!:hippie:

Connie

Sounds lovely Connie. I'm going to be 60 in a few weeks - being old is not so good now!!!!:sad2: But hey, just 7 weeks after that we're off on this cruise, so I can forget being so old for a few weeks.:lmao:

Bindie is a slang short version of Belinda, usually. Us Aussies shorten everything with an 'e' sound at the end eg breakfast (brekky), kindergarten (kindy), biscuit (biccy) etc - you get the the piccy (picture)!!:rotfl:

We tend to do that here too!!!:rotfl:

And over here are a generation of girls who would NOT be caught dead being named after a Neighbours character (not at all cool here!!!):lmao: Apologies to any Kylie's or Charlene's out there....it is an Aussie thing to not like those names since Kylie Minogue starred in a local soap opera twenty years ago....:thumbsup2

With my nursing background I could never get over the fact that someone would name their child after a waterproof bed sheet!!!!:lmao:

I'll bring Smarties!

I bet they would never get that far!!!:rotfl2:

DEB, me too!

Just got home from work, and it was waiting between my doors:cool1: Thanks so much for doing this, it really is cute , and sure makes this cruise seem even more real, and yes, I'm still in the lifeboat :upsidedow

Kathe

I know I will get mine eventually, but I feel left out in the sea!!!!

How DO you do that?:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I plan to buy this:

And this:

DSC03351.jpg

:woohoo: :woohoo: must buy this and I have 06, 07 and guess what I have not make the scrapbooking yet!!

I'll bring the RUM :lmao: :lmao:

(and I thought it was 3500 a week when I glaced at it)

Nan

What is your favourite rum? Barcardi, Black Rum, or Morgans Spice???

My one is Morgans Spice!!;)

Paradise Pier is where my room is now at and nan is at GC. I actually one at both booked for me but I may as well just do Paradise Pier as it is $200 bucks cheaper.

I booked with DU for Paradise Pier for 3 nights and very tempt for GC but too dear:scared1:

Mmmmmm, our very ofwn gossipgirls!

What are they? Never mind, whatever they are I want them!!:)

Marilyn It is for scrapbooking.

John at first thought I was having a dream, but then realised what it was! Rpoorts were that some folk thought a lorry had crashed into their house, there had been a terrorist attack, the local chemical plant had had an explosion etc.

.

I never heard about it so I better watch tv there will be more news.

Terrible!!

Ah, scrapbooking. I'm not sure I would ever do any, but I think I will go to Linda's class anyway to see how I get on.

Off to the gym soon. Feeling a bit down today so hope it will work wonders. :yay: :yay: :yay:

Thoughts of the birthday looming large I think!!:sad2:

Remember it is your special birthday and You will have a special year for your birthday with the family and this cruise too. You will have a great time on this Cruise:thumbsup2  :cool1: It will be happy memory.

Good Morning All.....Love the scrap book pages.
Cold here today - 46 or so.....

I'm gettin jealous of all your plans to stay at DL afer the cruise. We head to the Airport - and home...and laundry:laundy:

Rolling cooler is neat - can you also take that on a plane? We have packed our bubbly in a roll on luggage with bubble wrap - not the best but it works.

Does anyone else want to start packing...

And rue confesions, we have matching shirts....

Bealls - love Bealls.....

It seems those of you who ordered shirts received them........yeah!!!!

My car is named "little car" - original - right?

I looked at Mousadventure - um,,,,sounds like work!!!! But Fun.

Timbits never heard of them, thanks for the pic.

And with that it is off to work.

This will not hlep my post - count - maybe I should post it 10 times.

Another day closer to the cruise....

I wrote to DCL this week to find out if I could get nutritional information for food/menu items on the cruise.

I explained that I was following Weight Watchers, and I would like to be able to calculate points values.

I did not say that I was a WW meeting leader.

I received this response this week:

" 2/27/08

Dear Ian,

Thank you for booking a Disney Cruise Line Vacation!

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a nutritional breakdown for the foods offered on the ship. However, please feel free to bring your listings with you in order to evaluate the foods once onboard.

In addition, you can get an idea of the nutritional value by checking out the sample menus for the restaurants you will dine in each night for dinner.

A list of sample menus for all main restaurants can be found by visiting our website at www.disneycruise.com. From the main page select Onboard Dining. Next, select Animator's Palate, Triton's, Lumiere's, Parrot Cay or Palo. Then, scroll down and click on View a Sample menu to
launch the menu.

I hope this information has been helpful. If you require further
assistance in planning your visit, please feel free to contact us.

We look forward to sailing with you! Have a Magical Day!"

I'm not a surprised. I think it was worth a shot. I'm still corresponding with guest services about WDW food. The correspondence started this past August and they keep "losing" my emails.

I'm not upset, very mildly surprised as I would have thought they'd have a good handle on this info. I just wanted the info so I could make more informed choices throughout the day and figure out how to spend my points.

But still they were pleasant, and the writer of the email was obviously familiar with the Weight Watchers program.

chip&dale&fun

Where do you lives?

We are staying for 3 nights at DL because it is a long flight home. We thought why not spending times at DL.

I have not starting packing yet but buy some clothes.

We are not wearing the match clothes. Maybe put kids tee shirt to match not sure yet.

(Timbits never heard of them, thanks for the pic.) We dont have it well. but have the dougtnuts anyway.

I do keep thinking of the cruise and it is such a big part of my life now!!!:dance3: Just can't wait!:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

My birthday is on Easter Sunday and two of our children with their families are away, and I wouldn't want it any other way as they need a vacation. We are having a family meal a few weeks later and I am looking forward to that. I just feel it will be just me and John and he is not really into arranging special things. In fact if I don't remind him regularly to book lunch that day we will be having baked beans on toast!!!:lmao:

Too busy to go out for the day too, and we decided ages ago that to go away over Easter was a nono with school holidays and the cost.

Then there is the AGE thing!!!!

So off to hide in a corner now and feel sorry for myself!!!;)

The only thing macting we have is red shirts, not matching but red. Will probably wear it to board the ship. We want our pix to look good since it is dh's 1st DCL cruise!

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 pirate:
Sorry I'm Late Happy Birthday Bubba party: party: :bday: party: party:
Did I tell you about the $100 mickey shirt I bought from someone in the front of the stroller rental area at Dland....sad story, a woman obsessed with getting that matching shirt...Paul sniped at me not to buy him anymore of those stupid matching shirts, so the kids and I had a matching set, we wore it for my birthday dinner and he felt really left out, then we saw this guy at Dland and exchanged emails the guy lived in San Jose and we met at the mall and he gave me the shirt and me $100. I had to have it!! And Paul had no reply...:sad2: He has never complained about the matching shirts since nor will he again....

now you know why I don't complain about DEB's matching things. (scents, tux shirt, )

Mrs Bennett has is now in the Chicagoland area. I'm hoping that she appears at my house today.

Unless the Tim Horton's in the centre of the universe (Toronto) have different size Timbits than they do here in Ottawa

Hey, no teasing Toronto. I LOVED my visit there. It's like you took Chicago, kicked out half the people, sand blasted the buildings and picked up the litter. And considering I love Chicago WITH all those things, you can see why I adored visiting Toronto. ::yes::

I did buy a black sleeveless shell with shiny black sequines all over the front at Beall's for 70% off and then I got 15% more off today for being over 50!!! Being old is SOOO GREAT!:hippie:

Connie

Great purchase! You'll be able to do lots of different outfits with that. :thumbsup2 (Just got a visual with a red satin skirt)

(I did not learn to drive until I was 27 years old and moved to Chicago)

Funny, I didn't learn to drive till I was 27 when I LEFT Chicago!

An hour and a half to skip a 20 min line. Hmmmmm, sounds like something we did here one fishy Saturday night.:surfweb: ;) :lmao:

WHAT were we thinking? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Actually I just logged on and saw that the post count was 991. So, what can I say, I'm guess I'm a pirate: princess: . Take What You Can...

Give Nothing Back!

Well, took an hour to catch up....time to hit the shower!

Once again, it's LOST day! popcorn::

.

Since I am lurking I thought I would just jump in and say 'hi'. I feel so out of the loop. We have gotten a foot of snow here during the last two days and I am loving it!:goodvibes

Good morning! Glad to see a catch up post from you. :thumbsup2
