You really didn't have any choice there did you?:lmao: Now your earthquakes are scary.:scared1:

One reporter has called it 'a very British earthquake' because everyone is standing around talking about it!!!:confused3 ;)

The ground is always moving out here. Here is a link you can see we have multiple EQ's each day: http://quake.wr.usgs.gov/recenteqs/latest.htm You get to a point you only feel the very large ones!

OMG! One goes MIA for a few days and you all close out the old thread and put 50 pages on this one.

OK that does it - you all talk tooo much! :lmao:

So I have no choice but to do as others - :lmao: just jump in and start from here - no ketchup for me!

I never wanted to visit California because of the earthquakes and we did eventually go in '96, so there was still work going on after the '94 one. We never felt anything whilst we were there.

We visited the Crystal Cathedral in Anaheim(or a close area to there) and couldn't believe when they said it was one of the safest places to be in an earthquake - all that glass!!!:scared1:

Mainly pages of idle chit chat and I don't think there is anything too major!

We were originally goling to have a week's vacation this week, but I decided I couldn't cope with the stress of coming back to all the pages on here.:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Almost forgot. Just lovely pictures overnight - gorgeous children!

Marilyn, ever since the great long beach quake in 1933, Los Angeles has continued to improve the safety of all our building and structures. With each new quake, we learn and improve. Far more people are injured or killed in our traffic accidents than from earthquakes. Just as scarry as when I am in the UK or Australia on the motorway and I come to a round-a-bout and my first impulse is to want to go counter clockwise!:scared1:

I think the roads are the most dangerous places everywhere.

People are afraid of flying, but they always say you have more chance of being killed on the way to the airport than on the flight.

Well, must get on. I could sit here forever waiting for everyone to wake up!!!:lmao:

Gym day today and the 'ToningTorture' class!:scared1: So off to get ready.

Bye for now.

Very true. Ok it is 1:00 am here in Los Angeles, I am going to finish up my work for the morning and then try to get some sleep.

Good night to all!

Thanks Marilyn, now I don't feel bad for taking a shortcut! :lovestruc

Nothing to talk about....you know I have lots to say...but for you I just looked at Southwest from OC to oak..and the price is 70 more...not much, but then I'd need disney tix and food...etc..not to mention the luggage...
I think I will go straight home after.

Did you look at LAX? My flight from LAX was way cheaper then from the OC. tix? No passes then? We'll get a car from port for all of us and our bags. You think I will be carrying my six bags? NOT :rotfl2: So C'mon you know you wanna go! :flower3:

Well, I work in Anaheim and can see DL from my office window - it's 81 degrees outside right now! I don't think it will be cold.

okay thank for let me know:thumbsup2

OK I am putting this out to the universe...

If you are going to cancel your Canopy Adventure in PV please pm me first. We are short one spot for Ann and to boot its her "50th" birthday! So please keep us in mind if you are going cancel so I can try and get the one extra spot we need. Thank you for reading my plea! :worship: :worship:

I dont book CA but you keep checking it everyday to see anyone cancel it.

Doug and I would like to introduce Mickey's Mouse better known as Mickey. He came home today and right now is telling us in no uncertain terms that we should be paying attention to him and not the Dis. The cats aren't quite sure what to make of him.

Hi, miss you guys. Well, we had to admit Frank (DFIL) back into the hospital this morning. I am sitting at his bedside now typing on the bberry. He has a very sick stomach and a high fever. They think it is his gall bladder. While in the emergency room he got the worst case of the hiccups and they have given some drugs but he still has the hiccups.

His roommate is crazy. He is screaming and yelling all kinds of crazy stuff. He looks like he is very old and very sick. He should be in a private room. The nurse said they are trying to get an order for meds to calm him. Oh what a nightmare.
Lisa

Oh no, hope Frank is keeping well.

yes the s5....

I wore t-shirts and shorts the whole time we were there in May of 2005.

We went swimming at the quiet cove pool in DLH (we foudn it was nicer than the Neverland pool as it wasn't as "congested").

Here is a pic from outside our hotel room at the DLH.

Well we had an earthquake last night. It woke John but I slept through. 5.something, our biggest ever, but up to a few years ago we never knew we even had earthquakes!

Plenty of talking about it going on on the TV. Interesting. Lets see if they blame it on global warming!;)

surprised that it had the earthquake in UK, in England!! as we had a very bad wind last night.

nope..used to but we only go down once a year. I had them when tay was 3-5 cause we used to come down 3-4 times, but now we do other things...dcl, hawaii, so we just go once a year for cheerleading finals...heck this year I am not even taking taylor with me. I know evil mom, but it's just me, my aunt and her hs cheer daughter. It's a fun trip for me, cause I took this girl to disney the first time with my aunt when she was 4 and now were going alone again and she's 18!
Not that anyone cares, but she got accepted to Sonoma State in California and is going to college!!! We were worried, all her friends were getting accepted and she was getting nothing..but it came we celebrated and all is well..

So you would need:
a hotel room one night
2 2day park hoppers
ride to hotel (share with the gang)
ride to airport (share with me if LAX)
airfare home
oh and food
souvies or not

I care..that is good news. It's stressful waiting around to hear on stuff like that. Congrats!

I hear ya about dland, we aren't going like we used to either, but we still have our APs...

This will be Jacinda's first year of real summer vacation! We have the APs for Disney and for Sea World and for the Wild Animal Park. I want to do a week or so down south hanging out going to these places. I go to Disneyland the most in Oct Nov Dec. I love the Halloween Treat, and then for Thanksgiving and Christmas. My happy time of the year. :)
