Gydell, you haven't been to Dland yet right? I say go all the days you can if you have an AP, it's a no brainer. Everything is very walkable and you can do the rides you like over and over during a few days...:goodvibes

My dd and I have been twice and my dgs has been once. I am just thinking that with the Neverland pool we may want to stay there a while. And I know the crowds are going to be awful on Sun and Mon so my plan is to do what I can at DL but not feel rushed.

Brad Pitt as the delivery guy :rotfl2:

Towards the end was one of the people singing McLovin from Superbad?
It was mclovin...such a clever use of star friends!
I asked this earlier because I'm not really sure and someone answered one part of it but not the other. What time do the kids clubs close and what time do the shows end? I was wondering if there was a chance that my husband and I could both go, at least for an hour or so. We are on the west coast and I was going to try to keep the kids on our time so they could stay up later. Plus I hope they will have so much fun this wouldn't be a problem. But it probably wouldn't be good if we did it on a day that we had to wake up early. Oh well I say let's stay up for the entire 15 days, we can sleep when we're dead!

Here's my memory on it...We were on the Med cruise last summer. My daughter was 8. Her childcare closed promptly at midnight. She would sometimes run around with her 12yo friend until 1am, but with no supervision...yea I know..what a good mom!
We had late seating, so we went to the early shows..which always had plenty of seats available...and they were about an 1hr 6:30-7:30ish

they gave me these as AP rates for the GC:
club room $599
club courtyard $545
reg room overlooking CA $383
DTD view $365
DL drive and Courtyard $324
OMG..thats crazy expensive. I don't think I've paid more than 259 for the dl drive...
12 noon to 1:30 p.m. or so

Kids clubs are usually open until at least one. Teen Loft 2 am. Shows: if you are on main seating you will go from 8:30-9:30 and if you are on late dinner seating you will go before dinner at approximately 6:30-7:30. Usually the late night stuff down in Rockin Bar D starts around 10 p.m. and the bar is open until 2 a.m. 10pm and later is when they have the "adult" contests usually give out some cool prizes. Most "entertainment" in the Bar (like adult comedy) starts around 10:15 or 10:30 and is usually done by 11 p.m. Then there is the themed nights (i.e. 70's, 80's) and the music starts up after the entertainment.
There is also a bar with piano music and the sports bar with the games on. Since this will be during the NBA playoffs, they will probably be showing the playoff games. In there you can get nachos, hot dogs, and other stuff for free. Outside Rockin Bar D every night at 11 p.m. there are late night snacks (in case you haven't eaten enough during the day!)
I did not know they had nachos, hot dogs....I'm starting to wonder if the med people were screwed? They did have a late night snack buffet located just outside rockin bar d, but no "drunk food"
The tips are $163.50 per person. That is the base tips. Now if you get great service and want to tip more that is up to you! :thumbsup2
