I hate bad days at work. I hate going back to work after a period of time off. I am always afraid what I will find.......

EXACTLY! I'm very nervous about going back to work tomorrow. I've been off 11 days. It will probably take me the rest of the week to figure out what's going on everywhere. Yuck. I dread that out-of-the-loop feeling. But at least the time will surely go fast every day this week! And it will be so nice to be out of the house.......and to have my paycheck back to normal next payday!

Ok, the truck is still there and my sister is here in Sarasota and taking me back to Polk county this afternoon. You almost need a passport to go back there! Wish me luck that I get a great car and a great deal!

We are having some discussions right now ... so far SweetTarts and Reeses Pieces are "on the list".

I think Preludes is REALLY expensive. Do any of you buy from them? If so, what do you buy??

The first cruise, my kids (then 8-9-10) liked the paintcan powder thing where you licked the brush and kept dipping for more powder. But YIKES the $$$. I have since found similar items at the local CVS store. But, they have moved on to Dove bites and Creme Savers.

I wasn't planning on dressing for mexican night either but then I found this on ebay and I figured why not, it looks cute and seems mexican themed to me. I made an offer of $6.50...I'm not usually a fan of wearing pre-worn clothes, but for one night, and the price is right, why not! We're also wearing matching Disney outfits (DH said only once also ) but I think we'll wear ours for boarding.

that is so cute. I think we have a set of matching disney too, I need to look in my stash and find it.

It's wise to be cautious.

We knew someone who was part of a Disney collectors group. He publicly mentioned his vacation plans. While he was away, his house was burglarized and most of his collection was stolen.

Wow that is so sad to hear. Very un Disneylike behavior to say the least! I have someone staying at my place while I am away since so many do know I am going on this cruise. Plus I have a video surveillance system I had put in a while back that I can access from the internet as well. Honestly I worry more about someone breaking in while I am home then when I am away. My children are priceless and for everything else there is insurance.

I bet the robber was not one of the Disney Collectors, but a TROLL (is that the word we learned last week? Someone who is lurking and stalking during on line posting?)

Yes, that is my "rule" also. We unwrap everything then place in zippie bags and have the zippie bags in a desk drawer in the room. The kids (of all ages) can "grab a bag" and go. The zippies don't tend to make noise like the "crackly" paper wrappers.


--- Oh and we also have a "NO CRUNCHING" rule!!

OMG what am I going to do? My favorite movie candy is Crunch Bites! It comes in a loud box and well the name says it all CRUNCH! Guess I will have to resort to eating whole packages of twizzlers. I can do that pretty darn stealthily

That powder candy is so messy too. I always tried to steer my kids to anything else! I am going to bring movie candy as part of their baskets in the rooms. I can't see paying a ton for candy if I can send a few boxes along instead and they will be happy to see it in their baskets so win win for me!

We don't buy candy for movies. Candy for a kid who can't sit longer than 5 minutes at a time anyway, is NOT a good idea! In fact, I don't even buy candy for him at all. Whatever he gets for holidays and trick-or-treat just lasts him forever because he's only allowed one piece a day, and he very rarely remembers he has it anyway.

I can deal with the sound of popcorn or other snacks.

The worst experience in a movie theatre was a lady who answered her cell phone during the movie, and she chatted away as if she were alone in her living room. Arrgghhh!

I promise not to answer my phone during the movie! This is a VACATION!!!!! Heck I won't have service I bet so it does not really matter.
