Can someone tell me where the picture of the ships that are marked with the rooms that Seaulater posted. Or repost it here. Are they our current group marked in green?
Kelly those were examples from the 11 night cruise. Linda, will have our cruise in the mini navs.
Pj
Tony is going to mark all the rooms in lime green with dis'ers in them and will forward the PDF to me. I will put in the mini-nav.
Had some questions about making larger, because our eyes aren't what they used to be. I mentioned making a banner (thought I could get permission fro
DCL to hang across the atrium so when you enter the ship you could see where all the dis'ers were

), but thought just making some bigger copies and handing out might be a better idea!
Sounds like a plan! If your pins are real Disney pins they can't say no so it should work great!
I have a TON of Disney Vacation Club pins! They work great.
I'd still like to be on the brunch group list. PJ said I was...but who is the one calling to make the reservation? Can it be done prior to the sailing? Also, does anyone know if you can eat the brunch sitting up at the bar????
Lisa
I have never seen anyone sitting at the bar for brunch.
I think the requests went in early last year, using different people to book different requests. I know Angie was one.
I thought they couldn't make it until 30 days out or something??

Does anyone have a group Palo reservation set up already?
The requests were sent in for the Palo private room, which seats 12-14 people. DCL will inform the holder of each request 30-25 days before sailing if their request has been granted.
Once a request is granted, DISers from the list will be grouped into each day that we are granted. If you have already reserved a Palo brunch and are happy and do not want to eat with a DIS group, and were previously on the Group brunch list please let me know and I will remove you. (see list in my signature.) If we do not get the private room, we will know this at least 25 days before sail date, and we will all be in the same spot we are today, heading to RnD bar for onboard ressies to Palo.
Pj
That's correct. The ship has the "hold" on the private dining room until 30 days before the cruise. Then they get released to shore side and then the person who sent in the ressie will get a call from DCL (about 25 days out) and at that point you will need to give names and reservation numbers of the people in your party. They will give you time to do that. I took 2 days to gather up all the info for the EB Med Cruise. However, if some people in your party already have another brunch reservation, they will need to decide whether to go with the group or keep their own ressie. DCL will cancel their individual brunch ressie if they want to go with the group ressie. On the day of the brunch, each stateroom (party) will give their KTTW card to the server and each will be charged to their own stateroom. The person who arranged does not have to pay for everyone in the party.
Count me in! The adult entertainment starts at 10PM in the front bar. Once I get the boys down, I will bring my mug and join everyone!
At the rate I've been going lately, it is not going to take much more and I will be joining you all also!
But you wouldn't be as proud as you are, now would you???
No, but look at how much more $$$$ I would have if not for all the extracurricular activities!
Hi on my blackberry. We have been at this dance competition since 6am. I am pretty tired but also very nervous. I decided to tell you guys and then maybe the nervousness will go away. Mostly, the dances are groups, but in a half an hour Gretchen goes on stage with just one one other dancer. The most important thing is for her not to know I am nervous so then she won't get nervous. There are about 1000 watching and 3 judges. I am sure she will do just fine. I have no idea how these kids can get up on stage in front of all those people.
DH once asked Jamie right before going onstage to peek through the curtain to see the crowd to ease her nerves. She just looked at him disgusted and said she wasn't nervous at all, she did it all the time and he needed to relax! Oh....from the mouths of babes!
Laura - I am interested in seeing the Los Arcos rock formation (from land is okay). Is there an economical way to do this? How far is it from the port? Thanks.
You might recall we missed Cabo San Lucas on the 2005 Eastern PC due to hurricane Hillary.
Woody
Yes, you can see it right from the ship as you enter the port. And if history repeats itself, the ship will be turning around in circles for about 30 minutes trying to get the anchor "unseized" (not sure on the spelling), and you will get plenty of pictures, PLUS you can walk from your stateroom to dinner at about a 45 degree angle. (The anchor did NOT come up all the way when we were trying to leave Cabo, so we got to be at the mercy of the Captain while he tried creative ways to get it up into the ship!)
If you rent through DCL, you'll have the tux for the entire cruise for the same price as a 7-night cruise.
Woody
If you buy one on Ebay for $100 you can wear it for years to come as long as you don't eat to much on each
Disney Cruise you go on!
MORE FREAKIN RAIN - WHEN WILL IT STOP?... oh YEAH, it's going to stop tomorrow and we'll have a week of sun and 70's
Today's southland events spoiled by rain...
The Oscars
The Tour de California (cycling)
The Fontana Speedway car race
UGH!
OK Kel, for me its all about the OSCARS today! Rain or no rain! Its one of the few events year everyone knows not to disturb me while watching.
Rain for you means SNOW here please keep the RAIN!!!
Yes Kelly, thanks so much for sending that miserable wind storm that lasted all night long (and I got NO SLEEP) and the clouds are coming across the valley right now and it looks pretty darn miserable.
Well I think he is in shock! Took him a few minutes even with Brent telling him several times that he was going on the cruise too. Then the "I can't get off in June since I'm off in May and July" started(he thought we were going to Myrtle Beach in May so I had to tell him that my cruise was in June). Once all the facts were out he understood. I'm sure when Brent goes home later I will get more questions. What I think is funny is that Brent needed to tell him so he could discuss some things with him . The things were-that the first thing they are going to do is go down the hall to Beat Street and see the traffic light and then they are going to play shuffleboard. The things a kid thinks are important!
Now to get him on this board!
That's kewl!
Looking at the specs on Cannon's web for these cameras if I had to pick one and size was not a issue I think I would go with the A720. If I was going with something small and easy to carry I would go with the SD1100. Both use the SD memory card so you should be good to go there. Price may be another issue but those would be my picks.
Doug
Adrienne and Tony have this pretty kewl Casio that Adrienne swears by and she uses all the time for her
Disneyland pics. So, I went and bought one at the $300 store (Costco), but I think it was only around $200 something. Except Adrienne is jealous because mine is 10 megapixels and her's is only 8. The camera does all kinds of pictures and has all these settings for "BEST SHOTS" and it does video too! And it fits in the palm of your hand. We also have the Cannon Digital Rebel but it is so big. This camera is great when we don't want to haul around the big one!
no pedi's for me onboard....they are too expensive compared to what they charge around here! more DOD's!
I agree. Only paid $20 for mine yesterday and it was worth every penny. I'll get one right before I leave in May and use those savings to spend more money in Treasure Ketch on the ship!
