are you going on an DCL excursion or stalking Gydell???

Hey Nan, we are doing a DCL excursion. The city tour w/cliff divers. Ella & John, Pj, bubba & I and DrHug & MrsMork are on the same excursion. I think there are others too so if I forgot you please forgive me.:goodvibes

Im sorry got I gotta interject here.
HAVING A WEIGHT WATCHERS MEETING ON A CRUISE SHIP IS LIKE HAVING FRIENDS OF BILL W MEETING AT THE JACK DANIELS DISTILLERY!!!!

more power to you though.

I actually lost weight on my last cruise because fresh fruit and veggies and grilled chicken were easily available. And I walked all over the ship.

c-ya there

On the second half, I am right there with you, If I could be on the ship for a year I could get to my goal weight, :rotfl: :rotfl: .

We love Justice...my dd's favorite store.

Nan and 4cmds, I believe I am going to share a car with my lurking dis friend. We are both going to be at OKW,so it should work out. I will let you know to take me off the wait list for the hummer once I confirm. Thanks for thinking of me and tay!

I must say I am not too happy about the lack of kids movies (that I would want to see) in the theaters. All these fantasy movies. Not my taste nor my daughters. Although, there are a ton of other movies I'd like to see that she can't, like atonement, jumper, definately, maybe. For the person who saw that last one, is there any dirty stuff in there? Can a 9 year old see that movie?

Hope everyones day went well.

Happy birthday to all and to all a good night!

holly, I'm not sure but do baby monitors work on the ship? if so ou could put one in the cabin and hang out on the secret deck, close enough to get to him quickly if anything happened, but not stuck in the room. not sure if they work, but it's an option.:confused3

Or a walkie talkie set? That could be in a gift basket. I wonder if the CMs at DCL know if they work on board.

Ohmigosh!! :rotfl: :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl:

So let me make sure I have it right ...

Your poor DH steps in a big pile of ****,
not once, but twice,
he is REALLY mad,
and you think that was hilarious?!?

We are gonna have a great time on board!! ;)

:tinker: Karen

:lmao: Right! :rotfl: So funny in fact that we have a photo of the pile with not one, but TWO footprints in it!!! :rotfl:

Happy Birthday Gydell!:dance3:

notice they are short excursion and not too early we are not morning people. Usually we don't do this many but DH wanted to he was looking forward to the pirate ship he thought it would be so cool and the DK would have loved it ...oh well!
Oh, I don't know who was keeping track but here's our info...I'll pm it if I find out who to send it to.
I'm glad she had a great time that's what matters:thumbsup2 You are very lucky it was small we've been to large parties that were crowded and could get out of hand with older boys in the group...my DS had his birthday party there last year and we invited the class (usually 1/2 come) so little over half came I really didn't let him invite any of his friends outside of class to keep it small... there were about 14 (even though they allow 26:eek: )and it was fun and calm they all had a blast including parents that were there....that is the way to go. DS birthday was yesterday so we had a small party(usually when its a small party everyone comes) so 8 boys (from his class) plus my DD it was so cute it was a starofmyparty.com party where they film a mini movie at your house and he chose "super spy" the boys had a blast since they came right after school(it was a half day) and I drove 2 of his buddies home with us. They also celebrated his birthday in class too so needless to say he had a blast yesterday. We will be doing small bday parties from now on(last class party will be for DD in Kinder next year but thats it!). Was Sophia's birthday today? Maybe our kids have the same birthday? You were actually blessed with the turnout and probably made for a much funner party:goodvibes

Totally agree:thumbsup2

lots of bdays this month.

Wilson's party is next week. We are having a party at the track during his first race of the season. We have a bounce house coming along with a bunch of family and his friends from here to suprise him. He knows that we are having cake for all his track buddies, but not that there will be his Grandparents and Auntie and maybe some cousins too. The track is about 2 hours from us, so not a real easy trek for everyone, but it's his bday.

Has anyone seen michael clayton...was it any good? it looks interesting.

ALso on the car V, I've never owned an american car, so I don't know about dodges or anything. Good luck with your search.

drive by 63 pages to catch up on so will have to wait. I did skim and thanks to everybody that wished me a happy birthday. Today is my 56th - I am getting younger each year(yea right)!

Happy BDay Gydell :cake: :bday:

My son who is 4 now had always been scared to wear costumes for some reason. He would fight me on putting one on for Halloween. He finally the last year or so is ok with them......as long as they are Power Rangers. After Halloween this past year I bought a captain Jack one from the Disney store and I was hoping he would be ok with it. When the box got here I took it out of the bag and showed him. I said "do you want to wear this for a Pirate Party"? He said ok we gonna go on Disney Cruise Line! So while not really "authentic" looking my son will be in costume. Now to find something for me!

I am sure he will not be the only Captain Jack. It is a very appropriate costume.

A pirate wench is easy to do. Any blouse you like--a Mexican one works nicely, but any will work. White or cream. A full skirt, hitched up a bit on one side. Another skirt or slip showing at the corner is a wenchy touch. Scarf or swim wrap around the hips, sandals, tons of chains and bracelets and the pirate bandana from dinner.

If you use a skirt and blouse you are taking anyway for other dinners, you are not packing extra except for the jewelry.

My DS#1 and DIL#1 made their costumes and looked very authentic.
DS#2 is L A I D B A C K. He tied the dinner bandana on his head. He had worn ratty shorts and a scruffy shirt with Teva sandals to dinner.
:rotfl2: Except for the bandana that outfit looked like his normal self.:rotfl2:
Jan :earsgirl:

Aha, I have it !Zorro. A Zorro costume would be cool. I could go as Zorro.:rotfl:

Just make sure you get the right one... wouldn't want you showing up as a George Hamilton look alike...

Oh my goodness you people "talk" a lot! I just put the girls to bed and decided to catch up after being gone for the day! So I finally caught up and then there were 5 new pages!:scared1: I guess I read to slow or something!:confused3

Happy Birthday Gydell and Sophia!!!:cake: Enjoy your special days!!!

I'm so glad I found this group! Can't wait to meet you all!!!

I don't remember what it is rated, but the opening scene is a father picking up his daughter from school on the day they had a sex education class (that the parents did not know was going to happen). So there is dialog naming the appropriate body parts and discussion about the sex act. So I certaininly wouldn't recomend it for someone who hasn't had 'the talk' yet!

...ok, really going to bed now....good night again.

EDITED TO ADD: It's PG13

Where do the bedside table lamps plug in? We don't have a cpap so never had to think about it, but would there be a spare socket there?

Jan :earsgirl:

There is not. I don't recall how they are plugged in, but I know we were crawling around on the floor trying to get behind the bed. And no, it was not some crazy game we like to play in the bedroom! We were looking for a plug! :lmao: Nothing there to help. Stretched hose and cord a far as we could and made it work. Will not forget the extension next time.

Well good to know...funny enough we are having our Puberty education class for parents next week. Yea, I get to learn all about whats going to happen to me, maybe I'll get an A this time!:rotfl2:
I told another mother, I wasn't worried about what they are teaching our kids, just about the questions our kids are going to ask us afterwards...they usually start with "did that happen to you?" or "did you do this" AAAAACK:scared1:

Maybe someone else on the cruise could use a small Mexican shirt--Tyler or Wilson of one of the other young fellows?

Should we have a clothing swap as well as pin swap, poker, WW, bunco, scrapbooking, Champagne party, Beer Boys Blast, Taquilla tasting, belly flop competition, Mickey slide off, and stair climb?

Jan :earsgirl:

Who keeps telling me I am overtired and should go to bed.....:confused3

But what are we going to do in our spare time? :confused3
