DrHug! Take this one you Mopar Man!!

I am thinking of a Nitro too, V. They can be towed behind an RV with all 4 wheels down. THE criteria for our next vehicle. I love the little Smart for 2 also, but want to look at the Nitro.

Ohhhh there goes their 2 mpg!!!

Well, no one has ever said DrHug and I are not nuts! :upsidedow :lmao: :rotfl:

Thats why I know we belong... :grouphug:

picked up a suit at Old Navy for Molly. This is going to be a hard year for suits for her. The right size is a bit to mature in the bust line.... She wants tankinis to hide her tummy, so I think I may be going online soon, as we can't find anything at our usual haunts.

Try Lands End too.. they have great suits and I do believe tankinis...

Michelle, I'm so glad that you got rid of that darn thing. Stay clear of them will ya :thumbsup2

Yup...it's a gonner and I SWEAR... if I get so much as a twinge on this trip I'm going to go raid Palos and a bar for Lemon and Olive oil!!!

texting doesn't cut it for work....

I do believe that work will be paying for mine...

This is going to sound strange, but try Lord and Taylors online. That's where I have found Tankinis for DD.

Kim

worth a try. Your DD is a bit younger and smaller I suspect???

I looked. Seems that the womans suits are $100+ for top and bottom. That just seems crazy for a 10 year olds bathing suit. The little girls are priced fine and they are cute, but I think too small for her. I'm really stuck.

I think he only hears me when I yell, or perhaps that's all I do these days, huh?

Wilson explanined to me what the issue was with the note. I used an ! Therefore I was yelling!

ok....he got me there!

Maybe . . . I do have to admit a secret . . . Amy bought me a pair of Croc flip-flops. To tell the truth, I don't see any difference between them and other flip-flops.

I am just opposed to the ones that look like I should be pugging a hole in a dike when wearing them.

HE WEARS CROCS!!!!!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

No kids so I guess this doesn't coutn, but I am savng quarters....:lmao:

I read a tip once about using an old Rx bottle to put quarters in... I use it and it's great!!!

C&D&F, we aren't diving, there will be some very fit men in very small swim suits who will be diving.

Pj

& we're going to be on shore praying they don't go SPLAT!!!

2nd picture down. The deck right above the captain's BBQ, the person in the white shirt that you can barely see, that should be my mom!

HI MOM!!!:yay:

This the locks webcam page, send it to everyone you know that will be home.

Pj

PJ...

Have you included this wonderful link in your extremely wonderful site??? :)

Must have something to do with the Smarties because our fellow Smarties Queen Lisa thought the same thing! :rotfl:

You know I went and ate a white one and then a pink one and I really do like the pink ones better.....

Oh come on guys... I have no smarties with me!!! WITHDRAWAL!!!!

Oh and Holly... I found the mixed smarties (the sour, etc.) at WAlmart... regular candy section - big bag - costs about $4.50... have fun!!!

Hey Holly . . .

Sophia and I are watching Dirty Jobs, and it is on the Mackinac Bridge. Let me tell you something, if you are claustrophobic, you don't want to work on that maintenance crew - painting inside the bridge tower, where you can barely fit inside (I would NOT fit inside).

My daughter is not developed up top at all but still is shaped more like a woman then a little girl. She looks a tad too "sexy" in most two piece suits for my or her taste. :sad2: She has for the past two years had nothing but suits from the Limited too. They always have a big selection of tankinis and that is what we get. They suits are still kinda little girlish (some of them) and that is what I like. Here is a link to the tank style ones HERE.

Those only go to size 18 (kids) and that is too small. that is the right style, but not the right size...I'm really getting a bit stressed I looked over on landsend and they are totally old lady looking

But you know, a scientific experiment is always a good excuse to eat more Smarties, so maybe I'll conduct my own such experiment tonight. :lmao:

Sure Holly.... :rolleyes1

OK ladies, for those of you with small children, I learned tonight that a necklace can double as a stuffed animal holder! :lmao: The green dinosaur and orange dinosaur each have their tails through a ring on the necklace, the brown dino has an arm through a ring, and the hedgehog has his nose through a ring! :rotfl: Tyler was so pleased with his creation, he took a picture:

Accessorize!!!! (nice to see a good picture of you too... I've been wondering how I was going to recognize you from your avatar!!!

:thumbsup2 SHIP OF THIEVES PIN TRADING EVENT :thumbsup2
How about all the pin owners who have pins to spare bring those extras for a special event. Choose a place--like Deck 3 Lobby and ask if there can be a table, or even use a beach towel solid color up on the floor. Lay out the pins!!

Other thieves could check them out. There needs to be a plan though.

Is there trading or just choose your favorite to keep?

Are only the kids be the recipients? or adults too?

OR
those with extra pins can use them as their Fish Extender gifts.

Jan :earsgirl:

:rolleyes1 I have no stake in this because I have no extra pins and no fish extender.
I just have an overactive imagination. :rolleyes1

Oh man... now I have to go buy more pins!!!

On the second half, I am right there with you, If I could be on the ship for a year I could get to my goal weight, :rotfl: :rotfl: .

Pj

I'd get to my goal with no problem if someone would just cut up all the fruit and veggies for me every day!!!

Has anyone seen michael clayton...was it any good? it looks interesting.

ALso on the car V, I've never owned an american car, so I don't know about dodges or anything. Good luck with your search.

I liked MC... it was very good, but then again... I have a thing for George...:lovestruc :lovestruc

Oh my goodness you people "talk" a lot! I just put the girls to bed and decided to catch up after being gone for the day! So I finally caught up and then there were 5 new pages!:scared1: I guess I read to slow or something!:confused3

Happy Birthday Gydell and Sophia!!!:cake: Enjoy your special days!!!

I'm so glad I found this group! Can't wait to meet you all!!!

We just babble...sometimes we actually make sense... I'm betting we won't have anything to talk about once on board!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: (yeah...right....)

& now I have to go to bed... I have to fly home to NY tomorrow... we had a small tornado touch down in the next town from here... my sister didn't think anything of it... I wanted to go hide in the pantry...

So... please stop posting until I can get home and join in!!!

See you all tomorrow
-
Michelle

I'd love to hear your comments on this movie (forgive me if you've already posted them.....I'll eventually catch up!). Tyler's stepmom wants to take him to see this, but a movie review guy on the radio said it involves a haunted house and that some of the monsters are quite scary. :confused3 Your thoughts?

My kids always see the scary movies and have no harm. We have friends kids that don't and FOR SURE I would not have wanted them with us.

Lots of stuff to have nightmares over. Globbins, shape shifters. I don't want to give away a scene, but I have to tell you that in one the bad goblin shape shifts into the father and the child stabs him. Not a movie for a little guy that gets afraid for sure.

I think even Molly will have bad dreams tonight.

But we loved it.:lmao:

We really did like it, but I wanted to see more of the fairies. We saw enough creepies but I like to see the pretty faires too. I expect a part 2.

You know when my grandfather was in his final years he was still driving. It scared the heck out of me not only because I was afraid he would die in a crash but also because I worried he would take others with him! I offered to drive him to Doctors appointments and little by little just sort of took over his driving places. I had to kind of force my way in at first since he thought he was fine. He was well over 80 and should not have been allowed to drive but he kept getting his CA Drivers license. How I have no idea, why they allowed it I have no idea. :confused3

I think I will tell my kids when I am 80 years old they need to hire me a driver or arrange for some sort of ride for me to go places. I do not want to be a menace on the road unknowingly. :scared:

My mom's license is up this summer at 81. She has agreed to not renew it. I have to say that I'm a bit mad at my sisters because they sometimes have her drive to them. So stupid. Paul and I agree NEVER will she drive to us or with us. We just drive her. She also has a driver at the place she lives, we just have to set up the service for her. But that is easier said than done, of course, she is old and set in her ways. She needs her Starbucks!!!

Seems to me the adult clubs are empty some of the daytime hours. Perhaps a WW meeting could be held in one. And if the WW members wanted to help each other at meals to make good choices, what a bonus! Having others know what we are trying to do makes such a difference.

Then, if someone had an overzealous server, the other WW buddies could help out. We had a Palo server who brought me a chocolate souffle even though I specifically asked for no dessert. I was stuffed to the gills. No room for a dessert. Determined to make good choices. And politely had declined. He brought it ANYWAY. I did not eat any. He was upset. I told him I had not asked for it and did not want it. He said I would like it. I said i did not want it.

We do not need to have to JUSTIFY our choices to others. They push food on us. We have to deal with the scale when we get home.

BUT--WW BUDDIES in the diningroom!! If someone has trouble, then there could be a DISTRESS SIGNAL and others could come running to SUBDUE the ZEALOUS SERVER and help the WW Member TAKE CONTROL!!

Is it obvious to anyone that I am still sick?

Jan :earsgirl:

PS: THIEVES PIN-PALOOZA could be held in one of the empty clubs too and they have TABLES!!

Jan, I'm on call, when ever you need me. I'll eat the desert. Know you can count on me.:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

It doesn't matter what you wear, just as long as you are there....

(so every guy, grab a girl, everywhere around the world and we'll be dancing, dancing in the street.....:rolleyes1 )

See we all feel the need to sing our hearts out to our adoring fans....

Oh, I want to hear about that one too!

Did I give enough of a review, or do you all need more...I see lots of others asked too.

::yes:: Oh man, she brings up Shakespeare on a day I'm in a quoting mood. Good thing (for you all) I'm WAY to lazy to type out THAT soliloquy! :lmao:

But I will leave you with a little bit of Shakespeare anyway:

Good night, good night
parting is such sweet sorrow
that I shall say good night till it be morrow.

.

to be or not to be...that was the question.
