I agree with this and I think that everyone should be happy with themselves first wether thin or heavy.
I almost feel bad about posting the fact ive lost 56 lbs because I dont want people to think I did that just because of comments made to me about being fat ( not sure that makes sense or not). Hubby says he loves me either way and I feel the same way, people will have to love me for me not what I look like.
My problem was the health reasons and thats what motivated me, not because of what people thought. I felt like I was missing out on things with Bethany and once of being in my hospitals own ICU because of asthma did it for me. I have been the same way, since ive decided I want to do it, its been alot easier, but I will do it and still enjoy life ( mouths watering here as I think of the chocolate deserts on the ship).People dont understand when those comments are made you just get madder and that doesnt help the situation.Hubby is chunky too but I would never say anything because I love him for him and if he wants to lose fine ,if not fine.
 Heather, me and Tyler loved you 56 pounds ago, just the same as we do now!

OK LADIES!!! (AND GENTS...)

I NEED SOME HELP!!!

MOM'S 76TH BDAY IS MAY 13TH... A SEA DAY

AND

I WAS HOPING THAT PERHAPS A FEW OF YOU WOULD LIKE TO JOIN US IN THE DINING ROOMS FOR LUNCH

NOTHING MAJOR... JUST LUNCH... AND SOME DRINKS... AND MAYBE A CAKE IF I CAN FIND ONE...

PM ME IF YOU MIGHT LIKE TO JOIN US...

THANKS!!!
What a wonderful daughter you are!

Tell the servers that you want a Birthday luncheon. They will help you arrange a place and provide the cake.

Ask Linda to post this in the THIEVES MINI NAVIGATOR and PJ to post it on the website.

Then, in addition to the people who are able to commit now, those who might want to be surprise-guests on the day of the event, will know where and when it will be or how to contact you to find out.

Give THE SISTERHOOD the general website and tell everyone how to give you the code numbers. Then you add it up, order it and let everyone know if you will collect money on delivery on the SHIP or need it up front.

THERE IS TIME to get some orders. Then when people come to get their orders, they can see some of the things others have ordered and again when they are worn on the ship so you may get even more orders.

Same goes for the Cookie Lee site, but I forget who represents that company.

This would be a way that members of the SISTERHOOD OF THIEVES can get souvenirs they WANT!

Jan :earsgirl:
Not sure if I'd get banned from the DIS for advertising!

Good! Im glad you got them and didnt have to fight for them. I have had some patients tell em their insurance wont cover them and I think how stupid because if it works for someone they are going to wear it more and have less health expenses overall but hey what do we know.
It will taking some getting used to but like venetia says it is well worth it and people feel like they have much more energy and can enjoy life more.Ive been doing alot more kids lately, theyve really been ruling that out now in cases of ADD and ADHD before starting them on drugs .

As for bobby theres lots of places for him to visit here.I could take him to work and get his pre cruise vaccinations and a check up . Im sure hed love going to meet the characters at disney. NOOO better not thay may want to freeze him and cover with nuts and chocolate to sell at a stand...

:scared1: Vaccinations:eek: Remember he:banana: is already "volume maintenance challenged" and needs RFRB*

(or if you get a body double from John, he will quickly achieve the same status:rotfl2: )

Jan :earsgirl:

RFRB* = Relatively Frequent Rescue Breathing

Holly--Have you had panic attacks before in spaces without windows? If no, you should be OK, but try not to think about it too much, you'll get yourself worked up before you even get there! I guess the silver lining is an inside room is more affordable...the veranda for all four of us was close to $10K or something along those lines, so we opted for a cat 9, which was $6K. Try not to think about it...I'm sure you'll be fine. But if you are seriously worried, then you should have a conversation with your doctor...2 weeks is a long time if you're going to have panic attacks everytime you're trying to go to sleep!
YES! Difficulty with elevators, unless they're glass elevators. It's gotten worse the past 2 years for some reason. I almost lost control on the Atlantis submarine last year, even though it has windows.....that one was more KNOWING we're way down under the water and therefore still confined. Was doing lots of deep breating, with my eyes closed so I could try to pretend I was elsewhere. The people around me kept asking if I was OK. :scared1: I just said I had a really bad headache to avoid freaking out Tyler.

When I had a CAT scan it was a horseshoe shaped arch that slid over the examing table from head to toe. I was out in an open room with an arch moving over my body. There was a lot of space around me. I did not feel claustrophobic at all.

It was the MRI that was like being in a cannon barrel. There was a fan blowing so I spent all that time with my eyes TIGHTLY closed imagining I was in my bed, at home, with the ceiling fan on, and I envisioned our master bedroom and my stuff all around. That made it bearable.

I am glad you can take your Mom.
Prayers, pixiedust: and best wishes!!

Jan :earsgirl:

I have never had a CAT scan but when I had my MRI this is pretty much what I had to do. I remember thinking close to the end that if they don't get through with pretty soon I am going to be pushing the button and screaming at the same time. :lmao: :lmao: Luckily they finished just minutes later.

:rotfl: Chocolate covered Bobby! RUN, BOBBY, RUN!!!!! :rotfl2:

Not got a reply from Tom McAlpin yet. Perhaps he is away on a fishing trip.;)

I did have a message on the home phone from the 13th. With a call back number. I called this morning and was offered assistance with getting the reservations I want. I told her I don't want any, don't want any special treatment, but rather my goal was to get the website and/or booking procedure looked at so that it can be made better...hopefully by the time the East Bound cruisers are faced with the same issue (see we ARE looking out for you East Bounders!!). She thanked me for my input and said they know they have to make changes and will be doing so, but that it is a very short time until the East Bound cruise can book and she could not promise that it will be better by that time. It was a pleasant exchange and I did again thank her for all the things that DCL does RIGHT, including the CS CMs that dealt with all of us Monday morning.

That's not as bad as after about your 4th cruise, wondering why these people keep scheduling the same cruise as you and asking guest Services who they were . . . which is what I did . . .

Doubly funny because AA was founded about 20 miles from here, and Bill W lived in Akron.

LOL John! We were thinking the same thing on our second cruise - "how did these people find us again??"

I know that feeling! The last time I had an MRI, I had to hold my arm over my head the entire time, and I couldn't WAIT for the darned thing to be over!

Ditto!
 Feeling the disney love:hug:
For all the new folks, and any others who didn't know this, we are a prime example of the good luck that can happen regarding seating assignments on DCL! Tyler and I were assigned to the same table as Heather & family in Sept. '05. We hit it off so well we booked the same time the following year together and have visited a couple times in between there too.

Every time I empty a suitcase for another trip, it seems I find a bag of Disney pins. I bet I have loads of them. I thought I was going to collect them, then I thought I would do some kind of shadow box frame with them, but ultimately, they just sit in bags. The only real souvenirs we have that are always out are our pictures.

you could do what I did with all of my pins--stick them to the roof of the car. works great, unless they're heavy then they tend to fall:rotfl: I've got about 50 up there now, so anytime anyone gets in my car I get "wow you must really love disney"

You are not a travel agency. I thought they only banned travel agencies.

BUT

We have a SHIP OF THIEVES SITE. Would it be a problem over there?

Jan :earsgirl:
I'm too lazy to pop over to the other site today. www.liasophia.com is where the catalog can be seen and people can contact me if interested in anything. The orders only take about a week to be delivered. I have quite a few pieces myself and love, love, love it (obviously)! :thumbsup2 I'll share my own website for direct orders when it's ready.

OK.....here's Bobby's tentative itinerary: Headed to FL to visit Heather & family next, then after that he'd like to visit V & family! :thumbsup2 So Heather, just PM John with your address and he's happy to send you the "non-leaking" Bobby and I'll send you his suitcase (you know I have your address). Then you can send Bobby and his suitcase on to V next.

My sister truely is claustrophobic. She was locked in one of those old refrigerators when she was just over two...she was playing. Luckily my mom and grandma found her in time. But, she has real difficulty riding in elevators, etc. We had inside staterooms in Dec and she brought a small fan that she clipped on the cupboard door. The air flow helped her from feeling panicky. She has been in enclosed spaces before and found this helped.

Well I didn't put my phone number on the email so guess I won't get one then. An acknowledgement that they read it and are actually doing something would be nice. (Plus a bottle of champagne in every SR for good measure!!!:lmao: )

Oh Lumiere's would be a lovely place for a birthday lunch! :woohoo: :dance3: Bet your servers could arrange for the birthday cake to be there for lunch instead of at dinner.
:)
