.....oh, and regarding LOST last night....

WOW! :scared1:

Those of you that have recorded it....watch it SOON! :thumbsup2

BTW, looks like they'll be completing at least 5 more episodes now that the strike is over.

....time to hit the shower....
I just finished last weeks episode last night, and will watch last night's show right after catching up here. CAN'T WAIT!

Having been so sick for so long, his emotions were on the surface.

You are such a good Mom to drive around and let him sleep. Being upright in his booster probably helped the sinuses continue to drain so no stuffy head like he would have had from lying down.

Best wishes as you work this all out with the psychologist and the other parts of the parenting team. I hope they focus on what is in Tyler's best interest like you do.

Jan :earsgirl:
Thanks Jan! He's had no stuffiness with this, only the awful cough. I hope the nap helped him get through the rest of the day. Fortunately, the school will let him lay down on a mat if needed, since they know he's still not 100% better. The let him take a nap last Friday when this all started. They assured me they'd keep a close watch on him, and I know they will. They seem to do so much for him, for which I'm very grateful!

Holly, that is terrible! :(
Which? I had a few posts this morning while catching up (still trying to catch up) and don't remember everything I posted. :lmao: Very sleepy still, so my brain is fuzzy. ;)

All of their flights go through Denver. If you fly on the 8th we could meet up in the airport! I think we get in there about 2:30pm.

Lisa, that was a lovely thought:goodvibes I actually already have my flight to MCO booked for the 8th already, on NWA. I'm looking for a return flight from LAX on the 25th now.

Wow! Can you adopt me? Then I'd ditch my mom who always used to tell me as a child how fat I was, when I was very thin as a child, well, actually I was still a nice weight up until I got pregnant. I'll never forget the one time in 7th grade when I asked to go somewhere she was going and she told me no because she would be embarrassed to be seen with somebody so overweight. It's a wonder I didn't grow up with some eating disorder or horrible self-esteem. Not sure how, but I have a great self-image and don't even cringe when she says those things. I tell her, "No, I'm average size and perfectly healthy, so back off". ;) Her mouth clams shut, she gets a disgusted look on her face, but she shuts up!

Wow Holly, as you say it's a wonder you grew up so confident about yourself. I think you look fab.:thumbsup2 We should never ever speak like that to our children should we?:sad2:

Heck if I could have gotten it to move, I would have my Palo ressies.:rotfl:

Noooooo, that is too funnny!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
We're going to have a lot of fun on the cruise!!

DrHug should be on his way home now. Looks like I will be able to stay up and give him a big ol' Valentine smooch! I'm gonna tell him John was making fun of his shoes too! :lmao:
Reminds me of a story! He used to wear Hush Puppies, the ones that were slip on. The flap on the top would flip up sometimes and our girls (young teen and pre teen at the time) called them his nerd shoes! :lmao: We were in Idaho with friends who had a nice boat. Our friend pulled the boat up on a beach on the lake. The bow was quite high off the beach and DrHug was standing up there. He noticed his shoe flipped up and for some unknown reason he yelled "Nerd Shoe!":confused3 getting the attention of everyone on the shore (including manly young men and lovely young ladies) and then slipped and launched himself over the railing, scraping the hair off his shin on the way (left a little furrow of hair on the rail), and landed right on his chest on the ground! :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl: Lucky he did not kill himself!! :rotfl: He was limping for awhile! We of course have had many laughs at his expense! :rotfl: :rotfl2: This was 25 years or so ago and the kids will still every once in a while say Nerd Shoe!! and laugh!
:rotfl2: Oh no! :rotfl: He's going to be so thrilled you shared this with us! :lmao:

Well been to the hairdressers this morning. I had a little moan about how he did it last time, but of course it was my hair at fault!!

Anyway he has cut loads off and put highlights through. It suits me much better, but he keeps saying 'we' are growing this (pointing to top of hair)down, then proceeds to cut it!!!:lmao: I love it though - until I wash it that is!

We might just be getting somewhere with it by the time the cruise comes along.

Also - it costs an arm and a leg!!!:scared1: Frightening.

I think that's why I try to be exactly the opposite with Tyler. He deserves everything I didn't receive. He's very lucky because he has THREE adults in his life who give him lots of love (mom, dad, stepmom). :lovestruc

Hi!

What jewelry do you sell? I'm an Executive Director 1 with Cookie Lee jewelry! Isn't it fun!!! Can't wait to hear from you!!! Maybe we could do something together? Just a thought!!!
Hmmmm.....interesting idea! Could be a big jewelry blowout! :goodvibes I sell lia sophia jewelry. Never heard of Cookie Lee, but will check it out! :thumbsup2

I have to call it an early night too. I woke up at 4:30am with a mirgraine. Treated it with meds & sleep 3 times until noon. Then I got up and I've been feeling crappy the rest of the day. Bed and I hope sleep will knock it off.

Happy Valentines Day
Nan, I hope you're feeling better today. I certainly can relate to those awful migraines. I actually had one start last night, thought it was because I hadn't eaten much (thus the pizza delivery), but it's still here this morning. Horrible sleep because every time I rolled over in my sleep, the throbbing would wake me up. I feel your pain sister!

I saw my mom over Christmas. She commented on my recent weight loss by saying " You can really tell you've lost weight, you can see it in your face. When your face was fuller you had less wrinkles" :faint:

Some people just don't know when to stop!!!:confused3

After my haircut, they ask if you want it styled. I say yes everytime. It's the only time it looks decent. I can never get it to look the same. :sad2:

Or you could bring stuff to SELL.

:rotfl: Look who's talking, I can be no help with this business though. We moved from a big house to a condo less than half the size and are still getting rid of stuff. No gifts or souviners for us. We are living lean and liking it.

Jan :earsgirl:
Oh, it all has to be ordered. If the internet connection cooperated, I could place the order while onboard, towards the end of the cruise, and people would have jewelry arriving when they get home! But it only takes about a week for the jewelry to arrive, so it would probably be best to place the order the day I get home so it would arrive shortly after people arrive home. Will give something to look forward to!

BUT.....I would love downsizing like you did! That's why I used to always love moving to a new apartment when I was younger, because I'd always de-clutter every time. :)

A couple threads ago I thought you said you knew who he was going to next. Or did I misunderstand?

Anyway--any takers?? He is a great house guest. Eats very little, happy to sleep anywhere, loves to pose for photos, good with children, only requirement is RFRB* :rotfl2:

Jan :earsgirl:

*Relatively Frequent Rescue Breathing
:rotfl: RFRB! Love it! Yes, he did have a taker (LivingTheWDWDream) but she cancelled. So he's no longer headed to Connecticut. Needs a new destination.
