Hi, DH and I are going to be in Chantilly for a very quick trip to the Intergem show this weekend. We are driving up Fri, arriving around noon,going to the show, and then Sat-going to the show until about 2pm, and driving home. I would have tried to see if you would have like to eat with us Sat pm, but this is last min., and didn't know if you would have time with all that you do. So, Do you have plans, and also do you know what the weather is supposed to be like. I have a AWD SUV, and DH has a Prius, so we were wondering what we wanted -good mileage or extra protection. Would appreciate a mini weather report from someone who is actually there. Thanks..Vicki

Haha, I am headed down your way on Saturday. Frank found out his brother (older he is about 84) is going in Tuesday for similar surgery to what Frank had. Richard lives in Harrisonburg (so not as far as Roanoke.....but at least down 81)...anyway.....Frank is feeling strong enough to go for a ride (about 2.5 hours each way) so I am planning on taking him to visit before Richard's surgery. By then, I think our weather will be fine.....more snow tonight.

I can't believe I haven't booked a return flight yet, I just haven't found a rate or time I like These airlines have a little better times and rates so I thought I might book soon, but I don't want to use them if they aren't reliable.

Hi, I am Vicki, and was lurking a lot until Sat night when I finally had time to catch up on this board--BUT, I was online Sat /Sun from 12 MN until 5:30am along with everybody else. I don't know if you were talking about me or there is another Vicki-if there is, I would love to hear from her. My cruise in Dec.It had about as many Vicki's on it as there are Lisa's on this one.

Not you, her name is vtiffany. She was on the med cruise with me last june. I am trying to get her to post here.


So it sounds cold out there in the US! It's been beautiful in california. It's windy tonight, but in the high 60's for the last couple of days. I'm going to be sending our weather your way. Hopefully it'll warm up.

Funny animal story, I was driving to my dentist in Oakland the other day and I saw a huge squirrel...well it wasn't a squirrel it was a FOX! in the middle of the day in urban oakland. So thats how rare I see wild animals (unless you count road kill) hahahahaha

Now my daughter and I are going to watch AI. West coast time, so no more spoilers please.

Don't give up! People do cancel excursions and you can always go to the excursion desk once on board. In regards to the pirate sail in PV, that boat will be in dry dock, so they should have never offered it as an excursion. The sea lions were sold out before the 90 mark, which I don't understand...guess all the cat 1-3 people got them. We wanted that but went with the dolphin excursion...which is currently open in three ports. The zipline is sold out in both ports, but openings may pop up. You just gotta keep checking. I understand the disappointment though, we went through it too and had to adjust.

I know how you feel, I am disappointed as well but it is probably a little better for me because we didn't have anything set in stone. We are thinking of doing some beach stuff too. Our kids are young so they would be happy with anything. Maybe next time we should go on a cruise that doesn't have as many CC members! But then we wouldn't know all these nice people.

Just a quick post while I catch up.

Got the kids to bed after a hectic day.

Started off having to go to a Chamber of Commerce luncheon where my comapny was being recognized for being 10 year members. Hard to beleive we've been around for 10 years. It seems like only yesterday my dad I were starting the company in our basement....

Then I hold a staff meeting where I had a little "disagreement" with a staff member.... Got a little frustrated with that ...

But when I get home my new (well new to me) PDA is here so now I have to figure out how to use it. Anyone ever used Plucker with a Pocket PC? I'm having a heck of time figuring out how to read an ebook with it ... I'm probably missing something VERY basic....

Now it's time to Dis and de-stress a bit now that the kids are in bed. So I'm off to catch up in my reading...

My dafs, which we call DafaWils for almost 8 years now (since Wilson was born) are blooming. Also we have a wonderful planter box and big terracotta pot brimming with narcissus.
