She just came back on and apologized...said she was incorrect, it is for ages 3 and up. She said they just added him to the excursion and that he should stay on this time. I just checked my online ressie and sure enough, he's there, so we'll see how long that lasts.

I told her that they need to get their act together because it's a disaster. She acted like this was news to her. I told her about the 5-6 hours we spent in the middle of the night *trying* to book ressies "Really? Wow!". I told her that the website is a living nightmare and that 300+ of us that talk online on the DIS board are disgusted. Again "wow!". Whatever. If I didn't love Disney so much, I'd be done with them...and they know that, that's the problem. Very disappointing.

We were at the grocery in Monterey doing a booth sale. We heard a voice over a pa system. "Hey Girls Scouts, Can I buy a box?" It was an armored car driver. He handed the money out the round gun port. The girls had to open the box of cookies and slide the tubes of mints throught the same hole.

NO WAY! Those girls were probably surprised!

I'm heading home this afternoon. It's always good to get home but I'm leaving Friday morning to go to NC to visit parents. A trip I don't look forward to. My sister also lives there. My brother hasn't been home in 10+ years. I think he has the right idea!

Deb I talked to ******* about that matter we have discussed. She posted on cruise critic but got in BIG trouble! I think I have figured a way to go with it. Let you know when I get home.

I have a couple of people interested in a poker day/night on the cruise. Everyone ask your DH, DW, DD, DS or anyone else you know that is going and maybe we can get enough people for a full table. PM me if you know anyone willing to lose some money! We can plan around everyone's schedule since we'll be at sea so many days. We can decide how much we want the buy-in to be or we can just play fun table games. When you PM me let me know what you prefer. We just want to play!

I really hope this is ready for our visit, it might soften the blow of not seeing IASW while I am there.

Had a heard of elk in the backyard this am...and the sun is shining...this horrible weather trend for us might be starting to lift. We are heading out skiing this weekend so I really hope they are right and it is going to be sunny because there is nothing better than skiing on a sunny day (well besides any day spent on the Magic or at WDW )

Wow, elk? I was already fascinated with the beautiful scenery you now have at your new house, but how cool to see elk too!

Dear Nan,

It has been four months since Sir Punkin of Halloween has been gone. Crazy name for a male dog, but he was like a little round pumpkin when we got him. Halloween was such a sad time, I didn't hand out candy.

Even now the smallest things still get to me. I spied the meter reader coming to read the meter. I called for Punkin. Our meter is right by our bay window. Punkin could get within inches of the guys head and bark his fool head off throught the glass. It was one of his little pleasures.

That's exactly how I do it! Don't try to eat Smarties while driving if you eat them this way. Tried it. Not so good. And I save the white ones for last because they're my favorite!

If I'm not mistaken it's not an immediate illness when a dog eats chocolate. I believe it affects their kidneys and crystillizes them, but I could be wrong

Nan, wanted to give you for your dog. I too had a dog named Casey who died a few years ago. I'd had her since my freshman year of high school and she was my girl. Sadly she died in her sleep just before her 13th birthday and we had to put her brother done the following summer. I'm sorry, I know it hurts.

Thank you EVERYONE for your wishes about Casey.

Paul and I just talked and we are going to take her in on Friday @ 1pm to TALK to the doctor about getting some relief for her. Pain/sleep/anxiety meds.

We decided we can't put her down yet. Just not ready and honestly I don't think I ever will be ready. When I had to put my other dog down (right before our wedding) I swore I'd never do it again.

Thank you everyone for your hugs and wishes for her. I know lots of us treat our pets just like our kids.
