Mrs. Mork - so eloquently put - can I borrow you the next time I get extremely upset? I just lose any sense of sanity when I get mad and then I just......well.....lets just say I don't look so pretty.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

:lmao: The TWO emails I shot off on Saturday night to the link on the website were not quite so nice! :surfweb: :lmao:

No, I am in Florida and I checked voice mail everytime I switched planes. I am with DU would they call DU or me?

I think they would call DU. I'd check with them directly and ask what's up :goodvibes

So....am I the only one who does things like this?! :confused3

My step dad emailed me today that he needed a copy of my birth cert for some paperwork he is doing for our business. No problem. Go home, into safe and find all 4 passports (phew) and scott's birth certificate. Not mine or the girls. Think for a minute and remember that during the move I put them somewhere safe so I could find them.....I cannot think of where that is and I have been tearing this house apart. :headache: Why didn't I just leave it in the safe where I knew it was? Why do I always "move things to a safer place"? Does anyone else do this and if so, can you remember where my birth certificates are?! :lmao:

.....OMG.....lol rotf.....this is so me.....I ALWAYS take things from a place and put it into a safe place.....then can't remember the safe place but I remember where they used to be.....so why did I move them in the first place.....I don't know, but I do it all the time!!!! Ha Ha Too Funny!:lmao:

We are planning to book a zipline tour independently in Puerta Vallarta because their minimum age is 6 versus 10 years old for DCL & we want to take DS7. I checked out the company on tripadvisor and they are highly recommended. But the company recommends an 11:00 am tour if you are coming in on a cruise ship. This makes me nervous about missing the ship because the tour lasts 4 hours. I asked about an earlier time and got this response:
Hi Lori,

The 11 am tour will get you back to the pier by 3:30 pm.

Th earliest I can offer you is 10 am. You need to be at the office by 9: 40
am.

If you arrive late we don't gurantee spaces and there is no refund.

I look forward to booking your tour.

Thank you.

Aby.

What do you all think? I am tempted to go for the 10:00 am because I'm so nervous about running late. PV isn't a tender port, is it? That would definitely help. With the Magic getting in at 7:30, when would we be allowed off the ship? The tour office is about a 20-minute taxi ride from the dock. Help!

I booked the independant tour to do the ziplining. I booked the 10am, because I was afraid of getting back in time also. It looks like we just have to get up early to be one of the first off the ship. It will be me and my husband. They say it is a 5 min cab ride to the office. I think it will be fine. Hope this helps.

Admin contact for Disney Cruise Line website!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After 5 plus hours on the website Sat night/ Sun morning (like everybody else) then waking and finding ALL of our ressies MISSING (like everybody else), I call the 1-800 number (like everybody else) and get nothing to tell my crying wife.

A little digging, a "who-is" search (all fueled by frustration) uncovered this little chestnut:

Administrative Contact :
Wall, Loretta
Loretta_Wall@CORP.DISNEY.COM
PO Box 10,165
Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830-0165

Phone: (407) 566-3733

I bet a few hundred E-mails, phone calls and FAXES to this woman would let The Company know just how poor the performance really is on their website....

Make sure you make note of the nearly 80 years of innovation and technical progress and how this is very incongruant with a company who's vast world wide holdings where built on delivering "warm fuzzies", not frustration. Pretty pictures would gladly be traded for a white screen with black Helvatica text with reservation making options that actually work.

Thanks,

Chris

i sill might send her a copt of my letter...

Who still has the letter from Disney we received in the mail with our cruise packets afew days ago?

If you do, read header following the 10 February 2008 date. Don't be drinking anything at the time. :lmao:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: was that really hassle free or was the swimming fish sopposed to be meditative?! :rotfl2:

Anyone looking to scrapbook last night I found the perfect embellishment:

I love the fishie screen grab, I should do a sign

If you have spent more time here (arrow pointing at screenshot) then with your kids, sign below.

And leave a very large white space, lol.

PJ, can you put that one on the website for later use?

Goodnight all. Gonna try to sleep. Heard another "I hate you more than anything in the world" at the most recent Tamiflu dose screaming fit. Call me mean, but no matter how sick he feels or how awful the med tastes, that's just not something I'm OK with kids saying, so he had to sit in time out. Then the "I hate you forever and ever and wish I never had to see you again" caused me to start the timer all over again. After the 3rd restarting of the timer, he finally stopped yelling and just waited it out. Good grief! Just swallow the darned medicine and it would be done with in 5 seconds, rather than a 1/2 hour ordeal! :headache: I know I sound mean, but I just don't allow such disrespect. Healthy or sick. Not OK.

BUT NOW I just feel so bad hearing Tyler's horrid cough so much. I went in his room after one awful coughing fit and asked him if he wants to come lay on the couch by me for a bit and he told me, "No, I'm just so tired". I hope he starts feeling better tomorrow, but if not, we'll do his paper chain AND he can work on his classroom valentines. Those will BOTH make him happy! :thumbsup2

When you ask like that V, I may have to reconsider . . . let's see how they respond to Angie first.

It wouldn't hurt to have him hear from several (500) people. Go for it, John1. You do a great job with letters.

I've had a terrible 6 months or so with my wallet and checkbook. They have been lost in the same drawer in my closet about 3 or 4 times. One time I lost them in there and cancelled some cards.

Lesson learned leave the stuff where it belongs, it's too late in my lifetime to find a new hiding place.

I learned that lesson many times, but forget it! :confused3 AND, I still can't find the stupid birth cert, but I did find many other things including 3 checks that need to be deposited! :cool1:

Doing a drive by post...but I wanted to share my recent interaction with DCL...

so, I mentioned that we are booked on the outdoor adventure:cool1: and I could not figure out how it happened as I didn't do it and when Lisa tried to do it for us it said we were already booked. I was confused but was happy I was booked. Scott let me know that DCL got my email from Saturday night (my not so "PC" written one) and they called this am to see if they could help. I don't know if that is the reason that the OA all of a sudden opened up and we were all able to book it, YEAH! But, I was impressed that they got my email and took the time to call to personally talk with me (or talk with scott). So, for me, DCL raised a few points in my book.

Yep, now I just want to see them actually do something to remedy the situation!

When Ethan got his tonsils out he told me he hated me mostest of in the whole world, so that is weird. Almost the same words!

You would think with all the tech stuff throughout disney they would be able to design a website capable of handling 1000 or so people on at the same times.:confused3
