My cruise number is different on my Palo, Spa, and Castaway Cay reservations but not my other excursions.

Got the Sea Lion encounter booked on my own. 11AM, so I will be looking to share transport over the the park. I know I'll stay there for some lunch and would probably want to head back by 2:30...though I haven't done any research yet on transportation and how far we are from the ship, so that's kind of up in the air.

Ok do we have to get vaccinations prior to this trip? I did not going to Europe. I just had an updated Tetanus for work. Has anyone talked to their doctor?

I need to have vaccinations for Tetanus as I will ask nurse if I need anything else for Mexico in case.

LOL - we are not too refined either - casual elegance is the way of life (I am a writer and homeschool) and hubby works in a war zone so things are casual for us!

We all got boosters and Hep A before the 1st PC crossing. You are coming into contact with so many different things (not to mention the size of the bugs that land on the deck during the PC crossing)!!

4:15 is correct. I was on the phone with a friend who sailed on the Wonder today with her 2 DD. She was getting ready for the drill. In fact the notice alarm went off while we were talking. And that was 1:00 PDT.

Hi Lisa - SO SORRY you had to cancel with that "other" group but I took your advice about posting here. Am trying to make a niche for myself but I seem to be flaking off on myself! I hope to become more involved here if you all will let me????

Sorry - my humor is kinda weird remember. Anyway, I'm finally excited. DH and I will be travellling alone although DD-20 may make a last minute appearance depends on whether she can take her finals a couple days early. Anyway, Not too worried about any excursions as DH and I found we like going on our own. No worries on the West Coast part as I speak the language. Am a bit worried about Aruba so right now I am booked on DCL buy may cancel that if I get to do some research. Lots going on at home and until last week wasn't sure if I was going to go 100%. But final payment was made and seems I will be on here God Willing.

No Palos Ok those that are fanatics about Palo's close youre eyes - DH and I aren't crazy about Palo's lots of bad experiences here but Sasha sure is an awesome server.

Can't help with the name just yet, but we have 2 LHMD now, and have had 2 in the past. WE LOVE dachshunds!! Have you had them before? They are extremely stubborn but lovable. One of ours is black and red, and the other is solid red. Our first male dachshund, we named Longfellow, because he was a" long fellow" Good luck with your puppy..Vicki

When I was around 11 we brought a wired haired Dachshund back from Germany with us. At the time there were only 6 others in the US. Loved him, he was a great dog. My grandparents on my dad's side always had a smooth. Well, being German how can they be anything but stubborn. Being of German heritage myself we will see who wins.

It isn't going to be easy but I have cousins who live across the street who are my house/pet sitters so I know he will be in good hands (or they will answer to me and they don't want to do that ) I like Prince Charming and PC also but DH thinks it is to sissy. Right now I think Simba may be winning out with Sim for short. Have at least two weeks before I have to have a name, though.

I think a small-ish dog named Brutus would be so cute!!

The breeder had a puppy in another litter he named Brutus because it was so much bigger than even his mother. This one just doesn't look like a Brutus I am afraid.

Does anyone remember the names of the dachshunds in the disney movie with Suzanne Pleshette? I think the movie was "the ugly dachshund"

So, how worried should I be about this...I was just reviewing our confirmation #s. As I understand it the first set of numbers is your DCL ressie # and the second part is the confirmation # for whatever you booked. Well, our two Palo ressies have a DCL ressie # that is NOT ours, nor is it the ressie # of those we linked with. It shows our names. Do you guys think this is a problem?

The DCL ressie ends in 230 so if anyone has a DCL ressie that ends with 230, PM me so we can check and see if it's the same ressie...cuz we might have your Palo ressies!!!

Yes, still at the Hyatt...I was just paying full price for my room, she had a discount of some kind. Actually, it's that we are now sharing a room that is helping me $$wise.

After things settle down a bit, I'll work on DIS dinner at the Hyatt. I'm thinking of a laterish one (8PM) so people have a chance to arrive and get settled in their rooms.

DH was just wondering if we were still doing this. I told him that once today was over you would work on it.

we did the same thing and a couple hours later we got an email stating that the Disney magic has exclusive rights for that day and that we couldn't book anything that day unless it was through disney. Pm me if you are able to still book it and they didn't cancel it on your card. We will be more then happy to split with you. Just my wife and I.
