You know, I've never attended any of the DCL singles lunches, but this cruise...with all the solo DISers....we could turn it into a singles-DIS meet!

I understand that a collection of CM's attend, so it's also a nice chance to meet some of the crew!

I've always wanted to attend the singles lunches, but haven't yet been able to convince Tyler to stay in the kids' club during those events. Maybe this time!

I took Frank to the doctor yesterday....the cardiologist (sp?)

He is anemic (sp?) and they put him on Iron for that. He is carring way to much water in his limbs......they gave him 2 meds for that......but his heart is strong and his oxygen is good.

I counted this morning....he takes 9 pills in the morning and 3 at night.

The driving is now the issue....the Plastic Surgeon (the guy that tied his body back together) said he had to get permission from the cardiologist....the cardiolgist said the heart surgeon must approve the driving....the Heart Surgeon said the Plastic Surgeon had to make that call....

He can not use his left arm at all.....we have an appointment to see a Neurologist in 1 1/2 weeks...we have waited a month for this appointment.

Holly, I am beginning to know how you feel with all the different doctors.

I totally understand I have been taking of my parents and I swear Thank you is not in their vocabulary! Even my DD who is 5 is picking it up, she says "they don't have good manners mom!"

Well me and Lisa/G520 are doing our own fish team.....the Liberty Belles....and we were thinking of stealing Tyler away from you for a bit to see if he wanted to help us hand out our loot. We'll see how he feels that day. Our date is Day 11 a Sea Day on 5/20.....we'll probably do it in the afternoon.

If that's not the date of the singles mingle then maybe Tyler will want to stay with his Florida girlfriend Bethany and you will still be able to go. Is this the first cruise since 2005 that you and Heather and family are doing together? I'm sure Tyler is going to love that!

Tyler will have many Aunts on this trip, I think you'll get to go to the singles meetings. I think there's more than just one singles get together.

You know what? I actually told Tyler about the fish extender gifting and told him Nan's idea and how we can help her deliver and he was very excited about that, so I'm sure he'd be thrilled to help you & Lisa too! So......steal away! I won't say no!

No, we cruised with Heather & family in '06 too. And we've seen them twice in FL. BUT......he's very excited about seeing them all on this cruise!

Deb, there you are! I was just about to comment on you being missing today and last night.

I've been reading and not posting. Just have not felt like it. Trying to get my tivo emptied......dealing with leg and dealing with sore throat, swollen glands....doing lots of resting.

But I never go too far. I'm here with you all. I'm reading about everyone's trials and tribulations of life.....and I still feel like I'm a part of them all and sharing them with you all.

Lisa/DL5 You are an awsome person.....you are so good and giving and kind....and that's what we all aspire to be. Just remember this time and know that you will not be like that for your kids when the time comes. They will be happy to have your company and that's a good thing.

I'm here about 30 pages behind. Catching up now. Been out with sore throat and cold. No have no voice. Wrote the kids a note last night telling them Paul and I were going to bed asked them to pick up and turn out lights when done with a movie. Wilson looks at me and says "are you yelling at us" He thought my note was yelling Man I'm a mean mom....

Yup, it will be snowing for 3 more months. Snows until April. There's usually one last snow storm over spring break.

No word from Blake or the job. I made enough tries with Blake. I won't chase after anybody. Somebody closer to my city (or even in the same city) will come along who's able to make time to get together. And the job.....well, there will be more opportunities elsewhere. Plus, I'm due for a raise the end of March at my current job, so that helps.

you know, I have been reading posts and I never thought of putting the over door shoe holder on the outside of the bathroom, I have always put it on the inside of one of the doors....so the shampoo, soap, hairspray, pins, hairbows, lotion, sunscreen etc was always handy.....I guess one could be used on the outside for room stuff.
