We're going on the WB Repo cruise and I just found my way here. It all looks like fun, but there's so much jargon and so many "inside jokes" here that I don't know where to start!

From what I can see most of this forum is about meets that are planned for the cruise, and although we'd love to meet all of you, I'm also looking for advice/tips/etc. Is there another forum for questions/ information about the cruise itself, or is this a one stop shop?

Failing that, is there a place I should start to try to "catch up" with all that's going on?

Tracy, welcome!! Just jump right in. Ask any questions and someone one here will likely have an answer. There are lots of us so there are lots of posts, but good conversation, good advise, good brainstorming, and planning. After you have posted 10 posts you can PM (send private message) to PJPoohBear and she will give you a link to a secure website she created for us so we don't loose any of the important stuff in all this babble.

Trying to figure out why I can't consistently retrieve my dcl reservation.

I have deleted cookies, reinstalled java, closed and reopend browser (IE) but am having no luck. I was able to access it with no issues until about 1 month ago. AAAAHHHH!

I will figure this out.

If you are not using IE to open it, try. I had alot of problems using mozilla and I switched to IE. Now it's only slow when dcl is having issues. I checked mine tonight and it came up.

I have never tried the CROCs so I don't see what the fuss is all about. Am I really missing out here guys?? I think they look kinda weird

Looks like we are leaning towards POFQ. My aunt wants to get a flavour of New Orleans, so this looks to be the ticket. The boat ride to DTD might be nice after sitting on the plane on all day too.

We had thought about ditching the DCL transfer and renting a car but I found it was just so much easier using them last time, plus the girls really like taking the Disney bus with the Disney video on it. There is something about putting on our bags on the plane in Vancouver and not having to see them until we get to our hotel room,and then having someone pick them up to take to the cruise ship right from our hotel room and once again not worrying about them until we get off the ship.

Are there any negatives to staying at POFQ? What about bus ride times to the parks? Line ups to get on a bus? I noted there is only 1 bus stop at POFQ, does the bus service there as well as POR or does each "Port Orleans" resort get it's own bus "system"?

All good things I hear on POFQ... if you want to see pics...go to www.allearsnet.com and look up accomodations. Deb has lots of pictures...

Well thanks! Okay, does anyone know what the schedule of themed nights is going to be on this trip? Please forgive me if I'm re-hashing old territory! I'm trying to figure out when to book our Palo reservation and I don't want to miss anything special! (I know, along with everyone else!)

I think it might have been one of our East Coast folks who so kindly posted this a few days ago. Someone will post this for you.

I'm steph and I'll be travelling with my 9yo daughter. It's our second disney cruise. First was last summer in the med. I am impatiently waiting for my vacation to begin! I'm ready right now!

I'm traveling with my DH, David, any my DS Erik (age 16) and DD Alison, (age 13) This is our 2nd cruise. We did the Western Caribbean last May. In fact, we booked this cruise while on that one, exactly one year to the day before this one will start!

We had more fun than we could ever have imagined, and CANNOT WAIT to get back to the Magic!

oh and an update for those who wished me well on the Kidney Stone... still there but a friend did tell me of an old fashioned method of getting rid of them. You take 1/4 cup olive oil and 1/4 cup lemon juice and drink them together. She said it sounded good... I told her to add some basil& we'd have salad dressing...

Just like the rest of us!! One and you are hooked! It will be myself (58 at cruise time) and DH Dennis aka DrHug on this board. He just had his 63rd birthday. This will be our 10th Disney Cruise, some have been with grown kids and grandkids, some just us. All have been amazing!

Dont feel stupid. we all started out somewhere. I was the same way when I found the DIS back in 05 for our first cruise. Anyhoo a PM is a personal/private message. If you click on someones user name, you get a drop down with options, one is to PM this person. And please dont hesitate to ask any ?? you might have. We are just a big friendly bunch.

Another question; I think I read somewhere about a group for the kids going on this trip? Does anyone know if there will be a lot of teens? Last time my kids got to be really great friends with a couple of the other teens. In fact my DS still corresponds with one friend he made on the cruise. It was kind of nice because there were only a couple of dozen of them so they all had a great time!

So what is Ballroom Under the Stars?

We are not sure. This is something new they are adding for this cruise. It is on a formal night though so we have fantasized about dancing under a moonlit sky on deck with twinkling lights all around. But we will have to wait to really know.
