I posted this in the main Cruise forum but I'll post here too. Can someone provide a link to a previous Navigator for this cruise? I'm trying to figure out which night is formal, semi, pirate, etc. I had it linked before but darn if its not working and I have no idea where to look!! Can someone help a poor girl out?

I am sure this has been covered but can someone tell me where exactly to go and see the full descriptions of the excursions available? I have the WONDERFUL printout from the web site and have picked a few but now I need to really compare those to make things final.

My day started off bad. Got some bad news about a good friend of mine. She is about 2 years out of breast cancer and they found a spot on her lung. So I dropped my daughter off at school and told my boss I had to go and drove away. He always looks at me funny when I do that...thank god they're flexible. So please send your thoughts and prayers my way for my friend. She is weighing very heavy on my mind and I can't really talk to anyone here as she doesn't want people to know yet. Tomorrow she goes in for a complete CT of her lung. They were actually checking her abdomen last time and happened to see the lung. Hopefully she'll get the results by friday. Anyhow, I just want it to be something other than metastatic (did i spell that right?) breast cancer. Sorry to be debbie downer, but I had to get it off my chest.

This e-mail has just been sent out at my work. Looks like my DIS-ing is about to be seriously curtailed. The annoying thing is that I don't even work for this company, we're just based on their site and use their computer systems.

They did this at our office when I was working, real pain. Then they just started blocking things altogether so that you couldn't get on at all.

I think it must be going on 5 weeks since Noel ended her cruise. I'm really hoping it isn't something serious, but it is very strange not to hear from her.

I have written a snail mail note and will put it in the mail today. It is going to CA so it probably won't get to her before the early part of next week.

If they don't have any cat 11's they could at least give us cat 6 since we know those are available.

we're in a 6, so why can't they allocate?

We are a Cat 6 gty, if they have them to sell why don't they have them to give out?

That's 2 mornings in a row the DCL site has had problems and couldn't access my reservation. I sure hope I can on Sunday morning. Do you think they wait until after folk have been on and booked their reservations before doing any work on the site?

I was unable to access my reservation on the DCL site for the last couple of weeks. I finally created a new account a couple of nights ago. I then logged in and tried to retreive my reservation - the fish just kept swimming so I went to my Yahoo home page then back to DCL (had not logged out) and my reservation had been retreived.

I'm going to play with it some more tonight as I'm worried about it working Sat too!

I am using Internet Explorer for my browser.

On the DCL web site, under ports of call, under Mexican Rivera...then click on the port and there will be another option to view excursions

I haven't been posting a lot lately because I haven't been caught up. Everytime I log on I'm 10+ pages behind and I spend more time reading now, so less time to post.

It's quiet now and I'm caught up so I'm posting again.

That's how I feel! I'm almost caught up now.

I'm with you on this. By the time I catch up there is work waiting to be done. So no real time to post. I'm still catching up.

I know many people have heard about the tornadoes that hit Tennessee. I live in Jackson - which is where the college (Union University) is that got destroyed.

I belong to one of the local Family and Community Education Clubs (also known as a homemakers club) and we just got word this morning that two members lost their homes in the tornado as well as one of the extension agents in the office that overseas our clubs and 4-H. Also a friend of mine had 3 employees loose their homes in the tornado.

This is the 3rd major hit with deaths that we have had in the past 9 years (Jan 1999, May 2003, Feb 2008) and we are still rebuilding from the 2003 hit in some areas and now this. Please just keep our town (and other towns affected) in your prayers.

To everyone who expressed an interest in using the green Mickey graphic: it is not my design. It is something that was shared on the door sign thread for anyone to use & I just had to have it. I just wish I could give credit. Oops. Anyway, I am planning to use it for a door sign, but I think buttons sound like a fun idea, too. DS started working on door signs last weekend. I think I will have to reign him in a bit or our entire door will be covered with signs. At least you won't have trouble finding us.

mom to Matthew 12 and abbey 5 and of course dh CLiff....we live in tampa and this will be our 6th cruise and let me tell you I am not prepared at all. Just made final payment....i have no clue how we are getting to the port...did not reserve palo's....what night do you think i should...if there are any left, what am i missing things i need to do...i am usually so OCD with our trips but not this time...now I am feeling stressed!!

funny thing was I didn't want him to do it either. He was the one that knew he wanted no more children and this was his solution. It creeped me out. But I caved after 5+ years of him telling me no more kids. I still to this day think, what would #3 have been, boy or girl but nope, we're done.

I want John to do it...no go though!

I just got back from my work meeting. It went well - I did get an extra bonus, but not quite as big to cover the call I got today....

They called for Cat. 1!!!!

Arggg....I have until 5pm tomorrow. I just can't seem to figure this out - we wouldn't be able to pay it all outright, so that makes me think we should say no. But then I imagine being in that wonderful suite for 15 nights with my family.

I think this might give me some levage to make the cruise at least work - my bonus will cover our 2 cat 9's final payment. But still....

Cat. 1......arggg......think of the DIS parties!! I hope someone is still awake to talk me through this!!! Or waking up!

Well nan if you get the cat 1, I guess you'd better have a party! We had a big dis party in the walt on our med cruise. It was fun. Lot's of wine, beer, cheese etc. We handed out gifts to each other that would remind people of where we all came from. I gave out cable car key chains! I got Oil, flower seeds, golf ball, golf tees, all with logos of the places people were from. The people in the walt made cool door magnets for all of us with our group logo on it. ANyways, I'm saying you have alot to live up too! hahahahahahah

Speaking of the men's surgery - When my dd was in kindergarden we had a puppy that we had neutered. We told dd that we didn't want any puppies. A few weeks later my dh had the surgery. My dd asked why her dd couldn't walk and he told her the truth that we were not going to have anymore children. My dd went to school and told everyone that her dad had been neutered. He was so embrassed.

I've had that problem. I think it's their system though, cause normally on IE I acccess easily.

OK, the bad news is.....I gained back 7 lbs and holding since quitting smoking. The good news is that I don't need new clothes and can use my already packed suitcase. The bad news is I can't wear my two new dresses and have to wear my old ones again. The good news is I still have more time to see if it stays the same or changes. I'm still on the diet so who knows if I'll start losing again or not. Can you tell that this weight thing has got me very confused.

I can't believe how easily the weight came off before quitting smoking and how I gained and am staying there since quitting. Smoking really does change your metabolism.

I do believe that your metabolism will get back to where it needs to be and you will be on your way again. It does just take time and I know waiting is the hard part but you are doing great.
