On the book stickers, I have a pack of 1.5" round stickers just sitting here (never used them), should I print up some to leave in the bag for anyone to add to the books they leave?

PJ that would be great! I was trying to figure out how to do stickers and sadly my computer skills are stuck 20 years ago. I have been dependent on my daughters helping me out with my computer projects, but now they have grown up and left! ( I finally managed to put an avatar by my user name... the next step perhaps a signature!)

I do hate to have you have to do it though. You already do so much. If the sticker size you have don't work out or if you need some more, let me know. Surely I can manage to print them out if they are designed!

Well I guess I am 50 pages behind....but all for a good cause

Mom - Mean as ever. Spent the morning at the eye surgeon with her.

Frank - Doing good. We went to the plastic surgeon this afternoon with him. He was the doctor that plated his body together after his chest cracked in two. He said he does this about 6 times a year...doesn't see it very often, but he had one today......this morning. He said Frank's was the worst one he has ever seen. No wonder he was miserable. Frank started this at 300 pounds. The heart doctor told me I have to weigh him evryday to make sure water does not build up on his heart and lungs again. He weigs 218 pounds now........he looks sickly......but I am sure it will get better

Daniel - He is MUCH Better. no fever......I guess all those meds have kicked in and started working!!

what do the current CC cards look like? I put both sets in the same place and now I don't know which is the current one. I think it is the blue one with the flag, right? The others will make their way to a scrapbook box! (notice I did not say book since I just dream about scrapping these days )

My CC card is tan with a picture of Mickey holding a surf board.

No-I just got a new one...well, not long ago. Anyway it has a beige background and a distressed look to it with a tropical Mickey holding a surfboard.

Didn't get the juicy ($400) one, even though I initially contacted them before the end of Jan. I did get $200, which was lots better than the $75 AAA offered me, so I'm happy enough.

Update on the IChat problem. We took the laptop into the Apple Store today and with a very minor network change IChat hooked up just fine on their network. Got it home with no changes other than being on our WI-FI network and the same old problem. So it seems to be somewhere between our DSL modem and our ISP.

Tomorrow I will try and find another WI-FI hookup and see what happens.

DH and I just watched Ratatouille and it occurs to me that I am very much like Emile who can eat anything-- only my omnivorousness is limited to books. I like my cruise books to be as mindless and devoid of great literature as possible. This also makes it possible to leave them behind after I have read them as I must so that I can fit all my purchases in my bags!

The library near us has a whole set of shelves dedicated to the Friends of the Library booksale where they sell 50 cent paperbacks. I have started to gather my pile of cruise books-- I am toying with bringing a dozen, although I am not sure that that is enough.

Now to the point of this post (you didn't think I had one, did you?)... What kind of books will get the most play on the boat? What kind of books would you most want to see in the book bag outside Kelly's room? I have trashy romance novels, spy thrillers, cozy murder mysteries....

I was also thinking that it might be cute to do some kind of sticker for the books in the book bag... "Courtesy of the Ship of Thieves... Read what you can, Recycle the rest" or something of that sort!

Anyway, all caught up now. It's 10:45 a.m. and headed to a meeting!

P.S. I was just thinking, I can't believe no one mentioned the WallE commercial from Pixar and Disney during the superbowl. I thought it was great. I can't wait for the movie.

The sun is finally shining here in Utah and it is 23 degrees!
