May 1, 2005- 4 Day Wonder?

Kathy,

I've been trying to pack today and just can't seem to get in to it. I'm trying to pack park stuff in one suitcase and cruise stuff in another, may just end up forgetting that idea as what I think should go in each suitcase is not what my family agrees on. I'm also trying to pack enough for 9 days as I REALLY do not want to do laundry until we get off the boat. Could be easier said than done.

Can't wait to meet everyone on deck 7. We are planning to go to Animal Kingdom the last morning and will take the bus to the port from there. Hopefully we will get to the port in lots of time to get everything we want booked before 3pm!

Just two more sleeps!!

I am trying to do the same thing, except maybe more complicated. We have a 2-day drive down, so I'm trying to pack one suitcase for those days, to avoid lugging all of the suitcases into the hotel rooms on Friday and Saturday nights.

Then, I want to pack one suitcase for each person for the cruise, plus one extra for water bottles, extension cords, and all of the other miscellaneous stuff that everyone has suggested we bring.

Then, we are going to Orlando for three days AFTER the cruise, so I wanted to pack a separate suitcase for those days.

Am I crazy - YES! Just a bit! Maybe I'll give up on the idea of all those separate suitcases and just pack enough for the cruise and the extra Orlando days in everyone's suitcase - if it fits!

I had no idea I'd have to bring so much stuff for a 4-day cruise, but everyone's ideas seem so good that I don't want to be without some necessary item.

We will be at the meeting on Deck 7. Have a safe trip!

Kathy,
I have an 11 dd and have been hoping the same thing. She can be a little shy and likes to hang out with the adults! We are really hoping that she will make some friends on board.
We have 5 kids total, dd 11, ds 9, twin b/g 7, and ds 9 months. They will all be with us and so will our sitter! As you can see we can cover many ages for new friends! :rotfl:
Already started the packing and I am just about done. DH and i just have to pack ourselves and we are ready to leave TOMORROW! Our flight is at 5pm and I think the kids are going to drive their poor teachers nuts all day! We will be at the poly until the cruise.
Good luck packing everyone and hope to meet on board! :wave2:

We will go to Orlando on Apr 27, and 5days to cruise onboard!
It takes 18 hours from Tokyo to Orlando.(Transit in LAX and MEM)
If it is good for everyone, please meet and greet.
Have a good cruise each other!

I can hardly believe it!! Bags are almost packed, dog is at the kennel, last minute errands are done. See you at the Port!! Safe travelling everyone.
 :cool1: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :bounce: :cheer2: :jumping1: :jumping1: :dancer: :dancer: :dancer: :dancer: :disrocks:

I can't wait until Thursday morning at 8:25am when my plane leaves NY headed for Orlando :cool1: Hoping to see everyone on Sunday at 3:00pm on secret deck 7

I have two days of work left. :sad2:

We are mostly packed, but the house is a wreck! I feel like we're bringing everything but the kitchen sink!

We're leaving Friday evening and will take two days to drive down. We'll be there soon! :cool1:

We have 18 hours before our plane takes off. My wife has done a great job with the packing and planning. I just have some small errands to run today. We also need to bring our 2 dogs and 2 cats to the vets for boarding. I plan on trying to clean the house tonight........
Hope everyone has a safe trip. We look forward to meeting all of you Sunday on secret deck 7.
Peace be with you all,

Jack

I'm ready....the car is packed with my luggage, I just confirmed my flight with Jetblue, my documents are all filled out, now I just need it to be 5:00am tomorrow morning (4/28) :cool1:
