Maxpass questions

So may max pass questions I know! I have looked and all I am is confused.

I am traveling with my family - 2 adults and 3 kids. One kid has smart phone. Adults have smart phone. We will be joined by my mother for part of the trip. She has a smart phone but does not use it, is uncomfortable with it and I don't trust that it will be easy for her to use it for disney.

My question is-can I have the max pass app on my phone (and my husband and kid I am sure) but my mom can still use her hard ticket to get into parks? I trust her with a lanyard and ticket inside-seems the best way to go. But I can't find any info if I have all of her info on my smart phone if she can still get into the parks with the actual ticket.
I know this may seem dumb-but I am trying to iron out stuff

Yes, she can use her ticket to get in and she can also use her ticket to scan for the fast passes you have got through max pass. Super easy that way, we had a huge group of people last trip and they all scanned their own park passes for their fast passes unless we had a multi attraction pass on there from a ride going down during our fast pass time

Yup...you just create a Fastness Group and then you can manage all FP's from just one device (as well as everyone else's device that creates the group) and everyone can still just use their hard tickets and/or app if they so desire to both pull fast passes and access the FP lines at the attractions.

The whole system just uses a bar code that is your ticket # and does not care if it is scanned from your hard ticket, barcode on your app...or heck, even a screen shot of the ticket barcode.

Can you have different groups on different phones, Like a master then several small groups? There are 3 families going together (wife, son, and me, and our two other married kids and their families) and I am sure they want to do some things as individual families and others as the entire group.

Just put everyone on everyone’s phone, then each time you make a FP just select the people you want. You don’t have to choose the entire group.

This may have already been said, but the app and her paper ticket can be used interchangeably because it is all tied to the same barcode. She can keep her paper ticket for entering the parks, scanning into rides, etc. Meanwhile, you can manage Maxpass for her on your phone. It is really convenient.
