We have deluxe APs. We have a long trip coming up and TWO of our days are blocked. We will be buying 1-day, 1-park passes for one of those days (and taking a day off for something locally that day). We will purchase MaxPass for our APs for $75. But to have MaxPass on our blocked day where we use the 1-day ticket, will we need to pay $10 or will we already have access to MaxPass for the $75. I wasn’t sure how this works on AP-blocked days.

Thanks!!

I would imagine you would need to pay the $10 by default. MaxPass is tied to the ticket, so even if adding MaxPass to your AP entitles you to MaxPass all year (and I'm not saying it does), I don't think there's any way for the system to "know" that the 1-day ticket is for the same person as the AP, so it wouldn't automatically have MaxPass. So if you wanted to try adding it for free you would have to talk to a CM and at that point it's up to them to make the judgment call.

I agree with the PP. Since your AP won't be scanned into the parks that day, the MP associated with your AP won't be active. Maybe you could talk a CM into giving it to you, but I wouldn't count on it.
