MaxPass for $15 per person per day?

I took a DLR survey late last night based on my visit so far. Answered “yes” to using MaxPass now and was prompted to answer if I would be willing to pay $15 dollars a day per person for this benefit in the future... so $60 a day more for my family? Each day??

Uh...this makes me feel like the money (if any!) they are losing at SWGE is obviously no big deal. How many would be ok with this?

Well that’s embarrassing!! Admittedly, MaxPass comes with our Signature Annual Passes that we bought to be able to attend SWGE this summer. I didn’t realize the per day cost...definitely has me rethinking things with the cost of these annual passes. Lots a family can do for $4k...love Disney, but for real? If we drop down in AP tiers it’s $60 more a day tacked on??

I think it is an extra one-time $100 fee per year to add max pass to an annual pass for the whole year or if you only want it for one day it is $15 per person per day. I would just do the $100 for the whole year myself.

Maxpass is an add on to the regular signature pass (it’s $100). It’s only included on the signature plus and premiere

Signature doesn’t come with MaxPass. If you have it you paid an additional $100 flat fee to add it to your pass for the year.

Wow...sorry everyone. Verbal filter needed on this post, obviously. DH was like “what?? of course we paid the $100 fee, why else are we NOT visiting anywhere else (like Hawai!) this year.” Oops!!

$15 is a bit much, but I paid $99pp for express pass for Halloween Horror Nights last year so.... I’m ok with the $100 add on for APs, but of course $75 would be better.

Ugh! I did that last year too for horror nights. Still can't believe I dropped an extra $100 on one night of "fastpasses". lol

Probably to see how far they can push the price. If the majority answers '$15 is too much', then they won't push for $20. If the majority answers '$15 is a bargain'...
And let's face it, when you look at everything you have to pay for during a Disney day, Maxpass is pretty good value.

I wonder if they would add any other experiences to maxpass? WOC and F! are available that way.That way if they increase the price, they can say more attractions are available through it.

Idk...I'm trying to think of other popular experiences that Disney could add lol Maybe for parades? Or popular/rare characters?

Yep it already is $15 per person per day but they did ask you the question right? Would you pay $15 a day for MaxPass? So maybe they are thinking of charging AP’s $15 for every day they add it. Did they know you were an AP?

I'm happy there is people that will pay that but I'm not one of them. For the 7 of us that' 105 US dollars a day. for our 5 day trip that is 525 US dollars!!! Thats insane!!! Using regular fastpass we get all we need to of the fastpass rides and we sprinkle in all the other rides and shows in the park. We wouldn't have time to do the headliners any more (as it was on our last trip we did California Screaming (now Incred.) over 20 times). I could see if you're all teens and only want to do fastpass rides but even then I think maxpass people are missing out on all the other parts of the park.

Your situation is unique and I am happy you have an option that works for you. There is also lots of people that a few hundred extra bucks is not a big deal and its good for them too. I just think its a waste of money for us.

Exactly!! I did answer no for the $15 MaxPass. The survey was long! Took it while kids were napping on afternoon break. Whole thing was about 30 minutes, and interestingly ALL about California Adventure not Disneyland. I expected questions about SWGE. I did have to answer if I was an AP, but not until the end.
