We are cruising with our whole family (24 of us total, 11 being children). We desperately want to eat an adults only dinner together. DH and I have concierge for our room so we can book well before everyone else. What is the maximum number of people we can make the reservation for? I heard online the maximum is 6 but can I call and make it for more? We also want to have tea and brunch together but in smaller groups. Tea would be just the ladies (8).

Concierge should be able to assist you with this. I know that Palo has a private dining area that holds around 14 people that you may be able to book.

Best of luck to you.

On a previous cruise, we had looked into doing a large DIS meet in the private dining room at Palo. At that time, we did have to book it in advance. We've stayed concierge both times we cruised and we were never contacted in advance like they do at the Disney resorts. We didn't meet our concierge team until we got on board and by then, they may not have the private room available. I would definitely give DCL a call or drop an e-mail to their guest communications team and find out how you go about reserving the room.

Good luck,
Tammi

We just had dinner in the private room the other night and 14 people fit in very nicely. I would go ahead and ask. As long as you are felxible to what night it is they should be able to accomodate you.

Our friends were able to reserve this room for 12 of us (4 different state rooms). She was staying in the Walt Suite so I am not sure if that helped them get it or not.

Thanks for the info everyone! Does anyone know the phone number to call concierge?
I don't know if it matters but we are in a category 3. We are wait listed for a 1 or 2 but not holding our breath. I will not totally give up hope until the final payment is actually due.

In the past, it was Debbie at DCL who took care of the dining arrangments for concierge guests. I have her number listed as 407-566-7411.

Thanks again everyone! I called Debbie and she was able to book us the exact day and times we wanted. The only thing we couldn't get was tea b/c they do not reserve the room for tea. I am so excited, this was the last thing left that we really wanted.
