Max?

Has Max still been around lately?

Our kids have never seen Max, we're going to Disneyland the first week of Nov. and they'd like to see Max.

I'd rather have breakfast at Minnie's, but if the only chance to see Max is at Goofy's breakfast we'll go there. I'm hoping that Max is still around the parks, at toon town or Ca. Adventure where we could find him.

So have you seen Max lately? Please let me know.

I'm pretty sure we've never visited with Max at DLR *and we've had several meals at Minnie's & Goofy's. My kids did meet Max last year in Epcot.

Last year saw Max twice at Minnie's Breakfast. Another poster was there recently, DizNee Luver, (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2376961) and saw him at the breakfast too. Minnie's was the only place that we saw him.

I saw Max at Minnie's breakfast twice last year (March and September '09) but never at Goofy's.

We saw Max at Minnie's Breakfast in June. He was lots of fun! He and DD danced together.

Not a recent thing, but we often have seen Max with Goofy in DCA.

Max was out at California Adventure on Hollywood this Spring and early in the Summer. I have not seen him in the last month, but now that the Glowfest is ending the Characters may move back to Hollywood Blvd.

We NEVER catch him at wdw. I'm hoping we catch him at disneyland, because more than once my son has asked about him at wdw and a cm has told him he is at disneyland; he's old enough now to know that is where we are going, but still tetering on being young enough to get lost in the fantasy of it all. But not for much longer, I'm afraid, so I hope he gets the chance. He's been looking for a couple of years now.

Your best bet not to miss him is to ask the Information Desk or City Hall folks about his appearance schedule when you enter the park. They will be more than happy to share that info with you.

We have also seen him at Minnie's, as well as in meet & greets in the hub of DCA - in front of the Sun.

We have seen Max at Goofy's and in Sunshine Plaza at DCA. Asking at the DCA info desk or DCA Guest Services is the way to go when wanting to locate a character. Seems like the waits at these locations for information are always short.

We ate at Minnies on August 22 and August 26. Max was there both times. He really played at table too. He wrapped the string of my DD's balloon around his nose!

OK- I am going to sound really silly here, but I just googled "Max" *** I had no idea who he was!!!
So when did Goofy have a son??? Am I out of the loop *** my kids are 19 & 26??

I think 14 plus years ago. There was a show called Goof Troop on back then it had him on there. Pete was their next door neighbor and he had a son, PJ that was best friends with Max. There are even a couple of movies out about Goofy and Max. In one of them Max has grown up and even gone to college. A fact which I reminded Goofy about and him not getting his money's worth and how he might need to send Max again as he didn't know how to use the marker I gave him when he went to sign DD's autograph book when we were there last year.

This past Friday, I saw Max in Toontown hanging out w/ his dad. It was really cute.
