Max Finder!!!!

Oh wow! Just saw this thread. That little tool is great. Thanks a bunch!

When you click on him, a little box opens on the screen saying you found Max and now have 5 points added to your account. it can be a bit tricky trying to cliick on him while he's moving!

Thanks for that info. Apparently, I'm not getting him. Maybe it has something to do with my IE as Mal posted. I did notice that everytime I click on Max I get a message at the bottome of my screen that a pop up was blocked.

Yep that is what is happening! Who is your ISP? Does it have it's own browser if so use that.

I use SBC Global. To be honest, I don't know if they have their own browser or not-I just go with my IE.

I've read of other people using different browsers though. Is it easy to switch back and forth between two different browsers? I am so technologically challenged, it's not even funny.

I'm technologically challenged too. I can get Max with IE on our Mac. I sometimes use a different browser, Safari (which I think is from Apple) when IE won't work for me. Max doesn't move on Safari, he just sits at the top and I click on him. I can have both browsers going at the same time, so it shouldn't be difficult for you to switch back and forth between 2 different browsers, but I suppose everyone's system is different.

I was having trouble until I realized I had a second pop-up blocker running (no idea how that happened!) If you have an extra little menu bar underneath the normal menu bar you click on the little pop-up blocker icon (looks like a page with a pop-up) and you can shut off that pop-up blocker as well as the one you get to on the IE Tools menu. Or you can designate both to always allow pop-ups from my points.

I thought Max was supposed to be twice a week now? He only showed up on Max-finder once this week. Or has mypoints found a way to hide him? I'm sure I've run Max Finder every day this week.

I only saw him once this week too ... the time he was a 25 pointer. Maybe he figured he'd work extra hard for one day and skip a second appearance
