Not much to report here but here it goes....

(You should read my Pre-trip details for more info on the trip)

i started off today at work for most of the day, planning out my schedule nd updating my site with info on Star Wars weeened 2003. I decided on the itinerary as follow:

FridaySaturday - Travel days(driving down)
Sunday - Hang out at the resort(we're staying at Orange Lake Country Club snce we own a timeshare there http://www.orangelake.com for more info) and relax after a few days of driiving.
Monday - Epcot
Tuesday - MGM
Wednesday - Relax at resort
Thursday - Magic Kingdom
Friday-Sunday - Drive Home

Not the most "orthodox" plan but it should be fun. Since I'll want to be at the park way before my parents are willing to wake up, me & my sisters will take a cab so thats cool.

After work I went to class, took an astronomy test.....I think(and hope) I passed. Let me tell you, it aint easy to take a test when you've got 50 things going through your mind and they all revolve around WDW

My parents picked me up in NYC and we drove to Atlantic City. We got free rooms at Bally's because my parents are gambling freaks and although im 21, I opted to get in-room internet then waste my(okay, their) money in the casino. So far a good start.

And your adventure is ready to begin - thanks for posting!

We'll be at the Orange Lakes in November. It will be our first time offsite. How much is a cab ride to the parks? Just in case we don't feel like dealing with parking. Thanks for any info.

If you take towncar service, it will run you about $40 RT. A regular taxi should only cost $10-15 each way. If you have any other questions about Orange Lake, just ask....I've stayed her numerous times.

Hi - Im fairly new to the boards - looking around at orange lake posts ( we will be staying there in Nov.) Is there any websites or posts that show a map of the resort ?? I would like to see where we are staying in respect to different pools and activities.. thanks

You can look at Orange lake's website(http://www.orangelake.com) but I could not find a map. I have a resort map here in my room and I could scan it in once I get home this weekend if you like.

Basically there are 3 parts. The areas near the West Village, areas near the North Village and the new East Village. West Village is the oldest part and IMHO, the best part. North has all the new buildings, but they dont have the single family villas like the west village does. East Village is brand new and only has a few buildings. If you have any questions, feel free to ask :)
