Matterhorn Update

I was just on DL.com and the calender feature is currently showing that the bobsleds will be closed during our whole trip 12/9 to 12/16. When I first started looking into this trip, I think the prediction was that the ride would close in Sept and re-open in Oct. Does anyone know any details about this?

Before Labor Day the closure was posted as late August up until Thanksgiving in late November. Then the closure was post-poned until right after Labor Day, and the re-opening was postponed until mid-December. Bummer if you miss the Matterhorn.

Thanks for info. Looks like we are going to miss it, which is hard since it's one of the rides that is unique to DLr only and our trip after this is to WDW.

Is there a posting somewhere of the date they expect to re-open?

You may be in luck. Both sites indicate the Matterhorn will re-open Dec 15.
