Matterhorn Question

Going through the height restrictions for Disneyland I realized my youngest will be big enough to ride, whether she'll want to is a different story! How many people can fit into the ride. We're 2 adults and 3 kids, will we be able to ride as a family?

I would say probably not. Those bobsleds aren't very big. You'll want to go in two of them

It helped my DD6 tremendously to watch the youtube video before we went on it. We go all of the time, but she had always been scared. We watched the video and then all of a sudden she went on it.

How old is your oldest? They only will allow 2 per seat since there are two seatbelts. If you oldest is 8 or older, they will let them ride alone. And then two adults can each ride with the younger kids.

My oldest will be 8 so it might work. I think she'll go on she's very brave compared to her two big brothers.

Put your 8 year old in the same sled as one of the adults younger kids so they don't feel so separated. Then the other adult/child can go in a separate sled.

Good luck convincing her on! Just warn her about the Yeti and make sure she knows that Harold is really friendly and his loud roars are just Yeti language for "Hi! Want a snow cone?"

My three year old rode the Matterhorn yesterday and loved it. I prepped her by telling her that there was a "funny monster" and every time we passed him I would say "there was that funny monster, did you see him" and laugh. She really liked the ride. I agree with the PP who said to put the 8 year old in the front of one bobsled, one parent with small child in the back, and one parent with small child in the next bobsled.
