Matterhorn Question

the Matterhorn drops are not like the Splash drop, the Splash drop is 50 ft down. The Matterhorn drops are more like 5, they really are quite small. More like *dips* IMO.

agreed, the biggest dip in the matterhorn is maybe 10 feet at the most, sort of like pirates.

I haven't been on the Matterhorn for over 20 years and am so excited to ride it this year. Thanks for letting me know to try out both sides!

We rode both sides twice on our last DLR visit. It's now part of our MM tour (right after PP & Alice.....DS9 unfortunately thinks he's too "cool" for Dumbo...which would normally be after PP).

I like Judy's idea. 4 rides...both sides....day & night.

My fave is Tomorrow land, but really there are 4 unique rides to enjoy, both sides during the day, and both sides at night..........and people wonder how we fill 5 days at DLR

Exactly! At night it's a total different experience (same with BTMRR). When we go...we fill up 10 days just at DL and DCA! We always have to do both sides - daytime and night time!

Okay, I feel better - thanks to those of you who reassured me! Dips and "PofC" drops I can handle!! I love Big Thunder Mountain and have even ridden Space Mt at WDW so it sounds like I should be okay with Matterhorn. I just don't do Splash Mt type drops or anything close to that big!

I love the Matterhorn I like the TL side, but I'll ride the FL side too of course. The funny thing is DH says I am crazy and they are basically the same ... I had forgotten about the videos! Now I can show him they are! LOL

You'll have a great time on either side! Like others have said, it's really 4 rides
