does matsunoma lounge take ps's or is it just walk ins? how long have you had to wait?

dh and i LOVE sushi, and i'm thinking this might be a nice place to unwind.

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think they do PS's. DW and I were also thinking about stopping in here. Anybody have any good/bad experiences or recommendations?

Thanks,
Mike

Walk in only unless something has changes in the past year or so.

It is a nice place to unwind. :)

I am not fond of sushi, although my son LOVES it. He says that the best is at the California Grill followed by Kimono's. He said the sushi at Matsunoma is OK, but he wouldn't go out of his way for it.

Matsu Noma is my favorite place to relax at Epcot. It's rarely crowded in the afternoons. My friends and I usually end up lounging more than two hours. A decent sake selection.

We always go here and we always just walk right in and have no wait for dinner. It is very good, and a nice relaxing change of pace. It's not Disney-ish in any way, but it is very good. The tempura is excellent!

Glad to hear this. I am a sushi virgin, so was leaning toward the tempura. I'm sure DW will go for sushi, so I'll be brave and try some of hers. I feel like that commercial.... uncomfortable around fish? Just raw fish, I guess.

They don't take PS. We go every trip and have never had to wait for a table. The sushi is good and it is a relaxed atmosphere.

thanks everyone. :)

ducklite - i have heard excellent things about kimonos but we probably won't make it over there this trip. the next time we stay in the bw area, it's definitely on my list. :) if your son ever comes to dc, i can recommend 3-4 really good sushi places. :teeth:

We walked in on our honeymoon and had great food there. The atmosphere is nice. My DH speaks a little Japanese so he had a good time speaking with our server. It's also a great spot to catch Illuminations!

When I went last April, they did not take PS's, but it was not crowded at all. I agree, the tempura was wonderful, and the atmosphere was perfect for escaping the commando-type mindset. It doesn't feel like part of a theme park. :)

They only take walk ups, but usually aren't too busy, except right before Illuminations.
