Ok, If my math is correct then we should only be paying $1,626.23

We are staying at the Port Orleans Riverside Resort for 5 nights
$181/ per night
+15 / additional adult fee
$196
x 5 Nights
$980
x0.65 (35% off moderate room with Armed Forces Salute discount)
$637
*1.125 (12.5% hotel tax)
$716.63

Dining plan
$60.64 per person/ per night (checked a few websites)
x 5 nights
$303.20 per person
x 3 adults
$909.60

$716.63
+909.60
$1,626.23

What am I missing?
Thanks!

I don't think you're missing anything. What are your dates? Is it adding up to the full price room? Or the regular discounted room?

Let it be known that you do NOT want me checking your math.

Haha thanks anyway.
I asked on a Facebook group and they said that it could be that they are charging me the tax on the regular room price.

Our dates are September 13 - 18th. No weekends.

It's a weird $40 gap.

I see you added the $15/nt additional adult fee to the room rate and then figured the 35% discount. The discount is not applicable to the additional adult fee. The discount is figured on the room rate only, with the additional fee being added to that total and tax figured on the grand total. Not sure how it comes out after that as I didn't do the math, but refigure it without applying the discount to the $15/nt fee and see what you come up with compared to the price you were given.

I did the math both ways (with additional adult fee excluded from discount + discount rate tax & additional adult fee excluded + rack rate tax)

disney math ugh.jpg

Either way, it still doesn't add up. LOL

Maybe the DDP increased, or is that price for 2015? I looked and only found prices for 2014, but maybe I overlooked it and/or the price stayed the same. I would have to call back and see where they are showing the difference as it would drive me crazy not being able to figure it out.....LOL.
