35, 70, 105, 140, 175, 210, 245, 280, 315, 350, 385 so the answer is 11. I think this is correct.

However, it would probably be helpful for your daughter get additional help with her math homework from her teacher or a tutor. I would think it would be better for her to discuss with her teacher that she was unable to complete her homework because she is having difficulty with the concept rather than to turn in a perfect paper and have the teacher assume she understands the concepts/problems fully. Not a flame just an observation from a fellow parent.

If I figured this out right there should be 11 people getting both the sweater and the jeans. The numbers are all multiples of 5 and 7 between 1-400.
They are: 35,70,105,140,175,210,245,280,315,350,385.

I do agree that you should arrange for tutoring for your daughter. Speak to her teacher as soon as possible. The math problems will only increase in difficulty.

You are right...it was not "mom".

The post right above yours was just edited...the daughter went back & wiped out everything she had said an hour earlier & changed it to what it says now.

Originally she confessed that she was on posing as her mom...she said that her mom was away from 6:30 a.m. til 10:30 p.m. & that she really needed help with her math homework.

She continued to say that she is a smart girl, the teacher just is not nice & won't help.

Then she said she absolutely would tell her mom what she had done.
Yeah right!!

**Also sounds like she does not belong in Advanced Math.

The answer is the grandmother, mother/daughter, daughter. You have two mothers and two daughters and they each get an equal amount of the bills and the same dollar amount.

Exactly they each got 7 one dollar bills.
