I just planned a last minute trip for the first week of February since AP rates are back, and I don't know when we'll be able to go back to WDW with #2 coming this year.

So I'll be about 16 weeks pregnant when we go, I just started to grow out of my regular clothes this week. Most of my maternity clothes right now are work clothes, khaki and black pants, nice work shirts.

I'm waiting for a friend to send me her maternity clothes...but I don't know when that'll get here, so I guess I can wait until the weekend before we leave (we leave Wednesday Feb 1st) to buy stuff.

Should I go buy a bunch of maternity jeans and long-sleeved t-shirts for the trip? Oh, but I'll probably need to get pants hemmed. I'm 5'5" but my legs are shorter and most pants are just too long, especially with tennis shoes.

Thanks for any clothes ideas!

I am in the exact same boat as you!
I am 18 weeks with baby #2 and planned a last minute trip for the last few days in January!
I went ahead and purchased some jeans, as well as a pair of capris and several pairs of shorts...and a bathing suit! I'd rather be comfortable walking around the world with DH and DS (3 1/2 years). And you never know what the weather will be like. We visited my paernts near Daytona Beach the other weekend, and I needed shorts during the day, but jeans at night.

Have fun on your trip!

I was 22 weeks along for the trip we just took in early December. I bought some comfy, low-rise cotton track pants from Target. They aren't maternity, just regular ones, but since they are low-rise and have a stretchy waistline, they are perfect for sitting under your belly. I wore those along with short-sleeved maternity tees from Target and JcPenney online. I also had a couple long-sleeved maternity tees, but since I usually get hot when preggo, I mostly stuck with the short sleeved ones, then wore my fleece (not a maternity fleece, just regular one in a size larger than I normally wear-also from Target) over them as necessary. I don't like wearing maternity jeans too much, I can never find ones that are truly comfy. And for walking a lot around WDW, I wanted to be ultra comfy! :)

Have a fun trip! It wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it would be doing WDW while preggo. :)

Thanks ladies! I'll be going shopping soon. I just hate this in-between stage of not quite looking too pregnant, but being uncomfortable in regular clothes.

Can't wait for the trip though. I just had to use our APs one more time before the baby was born LOL.

Jeans and tshirts should be good....maybe some shorts if you can find them (since you might need those anyway before the end of your pregnancy?). My favorite maternity pants were yoga-type maternity pants from Lands End...I highly recommend their maternity clothing as it fit well and held up well. Many of the things I bought at Motherhood looked extremely worn before the end of my pregnancy.

Have fun! WDW is just as much fun when you're pregnant!
