I just did six matching shirts using the Avery light transfers, and they came out awesome! I literally have never done this before, am usually very craft challenged, but I followed the directions that came with the transfers very closely, both for printing and for ironing. They look great, and it was super easy. Try your first one on a shirt you are willi to part with (or use as pjs, which was my plan) just in case.

Again THANK YOU so very much!!!! I can't wait to do these!! I will look into that transfer paper as well as look for a sticky about it.

Carissa-Thanks for the advice, I am sure I can find an old shirt or pillowcase or something around here.
