Matching outfits....

For the past couple years I have bought matching outfits for my daughters and I to wear on the cruise.

Does anyone have any good sources for buying 'family matching' outfits? Disney Catalog is where we have bought some, but are there any other good sources for matching things? Maybe some tropical looking clothes?

Buy bolts of fabric and then have a seamstress make like dresses for the girls/woman and vests or shirts for the boys/men. I fyou know someone who sews well this would be a cute way to do it.

We did the same as Ann. We bought mickey fabric from the Wal-Mart and then sewed vests for the boys and jumpers for the girls. We have worn them to other events since the cruise and it brings back such great memories.

Hilo Hattie has a bunch of matching styles for the whole family...there are only a few stores in the states(mainly stores are in Hawaii)......but they have a website hilohattie.com

Story Book Heirlooms for formal clothes, especially holiday dresses for Moms, Teens & little ones/vests for boys. Pricey, but great quality.

Chadwicks sometimes has matching items for mother daughter, J.C Penney too.

Westjones - I was looking at tropical wear this morning online - a great site is Reyn Spooner - he is a designer - has some pricey stuff, but really great disney shirts, which you can get in dresses, and children's sizes. He also sells fabric.

I did a search "disney+tropical+shirts" and found all kinds of places that offer family sets - I think it is a great idea - DH will not -- lol!

Thanks everyone. You have given me some great idea. My DH isn't that crazy about the idea of matching clothes, but he goes along with it to make me happy (he's such a sweety ).

www.hannahanderson.com has a lot of "match with mom" outfits. I haven't personally ordered from them, but ended up on their mailing list somehow.

I have bought lots of matching shirts from Hanna Andersson and the quality is great! I love the striped shirts - we've done yellow and white stripes, and red and white stripes at WDW - and the kids really stand out that they are all together. The entire family has matching summer sweaters that always get loads of comments, too.

I wish that I was talented enough to create my own!
