This sounds like fun. Anybody ever participate? Do you have to get selected to play or can anybody play? Is there prizes?

Hi!! We WON the Match Your Mate game on the Wonder in May. This is how it worked: BTW we also watched Match Your Mate when we went back in Oct. and let some other couples have the fun.
MC chooses 3 couples (one married less than 5 years, one married between 5 and 25, one married more than 25 years). He chose the couples by saying, "okay, who's been married less than 5 years" and then all the couples that want to be chosen clap, wave, etc. He chose whichever couple made the most noise and was crazy. If you want to be chosen both you and your husband need to stand on your chairs and wave, clap and scream. Only the couples who did this (I mean it, stand on your chairs) were chosen. Then the game proceeds like the Newlywed Game. Very fun! Each couple gets Cruiseline travel mugs and the winners get a chilled bottle of champagne. We took ours with us on our Palo's night.

Have fun -- I highly recommend it!

Didn't participate but watched it twice and had a ton of laughs! Really enjoyed all couples especially the senior couple. Definitely go and have a blast!!!

I have seen Match Your Mate many times, and it is great fun. Sometimes it is more hilarious than others, as it all depends on the participants. I don't think any will ever beat the couple who admitted to "finding the Magic" on the secret deck 7 aft verandah and the very elderly couple who shared their story of getting...uh, intimate...in their car, only to discover a troop of boy scouts marching by!

One couple said theirs was in a loft at a chocolate factory owned by her parents! Too funny...

Match Your Mate is so hysterical to watch... that, and the Adult Magical Quest, I would never ever miss.

On the first cruise, when we somehow amassed that big group of really fun singles, and met up at Rockin' Bar D every night, one of the other singles' parents were chosen to be on Match Your Mate. They were the oldest couple, having been married some 40+ years.

When they got to the "Where was the most interesting place you ever 'discovered the magic'" question, her parents answered --

"The kiddie pool outside while the kids were asleep!"

Ann Marie almost fell out of her chair... she said that she and her siblings always had the chore of cleaning the kiddie pool! LOL!! She said she couldn't wait to get to the Internet Cafe and email her brother about the revelation in front of all that night...

Just the look on her face when her dear parents said that up on that stage... it was priceless...

Wow, how lucky can you get? That's the ONLY one I've ever seen! It was pretty funny and I was looking forward to seeing it again on our next cruise. I hope my expectations aren't too high now!
