massage on cc for a 17yr old

Hello,
Does anyone know about this? I understand you must be at least 18 to use the spa, but can my 17yr old DD get one of the open-air cabana massages on Castaway Cay?

Or do they even check her birthdate? We are going in Dec and she turns 18 in Jan.

I don't think they will allow her to get a massage on Castaway Cay because the open air cabana's are on the adult beach. An adult (according to Disney) is 18 years of age.

Maybe she could get one on the ship?

I think they will know the DOB from her card. The spa is restricted to 18 year olds, too, although there used to be a "Teen Time" with certain treatments. Definitely ask about it when you board to see if that is still offered. Although the spa is age-restrcited one the ship sets sail, kids are welcome on the spa tours while they are taking appointments, so she can accompany you there. Never hurts to ask!

The teen offerings in the spa are very restricted (manicure and facial package if I remember correctly) and are only for age 14 or 15 and up (it is listed in the teen navigator, although when we were there, the age was not listed).
