Massage help please!!

DH got me a gift certificate for a massage!! I was looking at the choices and am having trouble deciding which would be best for me. I have it narrowed down to 3.

Therapeutic Massage (1 hr)
Hot Stone Massage (75 min)
Reiki (1 hr)

DH and I did a couples massage on the Magic and enjoyed it, which I assume will be similar to the therapeutic massage. Other than that, I have no experience. I work as a teacher, tend to be high strung and worry too much, but I am trying to begin the new year with the idea of the power of positive thinking which makes Reiki interesting. The hot stone one sounds good becuase I am always cold.

What do you think would benefit me the most?

Definitely try the hot stone! I've had many of them in varying places, and they are VERY relaxing.

I would stay away from the Reiki if you are looking for a traditional massage, as it is not.

A therapeutic massage is more intense, working out knots, etc. The hot stone massage is more 'relaxing' and less massaging. I found the stones too hot for my liking and it wasn't very relaxing. I am not familiar with the Reiki so I can't comment on that.

I use the therapeutic massage if I have aches and pains that need to be worked out. I like a Swedish massage if I just want a relaxing massage.

Reflexology massages are nice too if that is an option.

They feel kind of slick almost wet (maybe they are wet?)
I had one where you laid on a few of the stones whilst they were doing your front.
Not too hot for me -but I am one of those people who take super hot showers etc...

I'm a whimp with hot water so that is why the stones were too hot for me.

.....it invites the tension to melt away...... (from the brochure)!! I am a hot shower person too.
