Massage at VWL???

I was just reading the perks and found this:

Members staying at a Disney Vacation Club or a Walt Disney World® resort hotel receive a 10% discount (excluding gratuity) on any of the wonderful massages offered at the Fitness Centers at Disney's BoardWalk Villas, The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, and Disney's Beach Club Resort. Offer is valid Sundays through Wednesdays (excluding major holidays).

Anyone ever had a message at VWL? How does the fitness center compare to GF Spa (for massage purposes)? I want to make it an XMas present to my SIL but thought we would all have to kill time at GF. I would much rather explore VWL with the kids.

My DH has had some massages at the VWL fitness center.

He was very happy with them. He said the massage and the atmosphere were both very relaxing.

He also liked the discount.

My husband loved the massage but was not able to get the DVC discount. The reason was that we were not staying on points- we had just bought in SSR and had our temporary DVC card. We called our guide to ask about this (since he had indicated to go out and enjoy the perks right away). He checked into it and said that it was correct- for the discount you had to be staying on points.
