Found this thread and thought I'd dig it out since no one has posted in a while.

My DH and I are new DVC members (just joined at the end of May) at AKV. Our first DVC stay will be in Sept/Oct at Saratoga. Can't wait for our first F&W and MNSSHP. We live in Quincy.

We live in Blackstone too. My wife and I bought BWV in 1998 when the kids were small. Enjoy your December trip. We took a Christmas trip in 2007 and LOVED it. We're in the middle of planning a trip for this coming January.

Just bought in at BLT. We'll be there during the kids vacation in April 2011. Our first DVC trip, can't wait!

When are you going in December?

We went from the 18th-28th and the crowds got progressively bigger as each day passed. With some planning ahead of time we were able to avoid most of hassle that comes along with big crowds. We had never been in December so we did every special holiday event we could - Candlelight Processional, MCMCP and Osborne Lights. We also toured the resorts one day to see the decorations. We did the dinner package for Candlelight Processional at Le Celliere and I would say that was the highlight of our trip followed closely by MVMCP.

There were 17 of us so it was a challenge to keep everyone happy but in the end it was probably our best Disney vacation.

We are going November 28-December 8th. I am assuming it might be busy the first few days we are there being Thanksgiving weekend and all, but was hoping the crowds would be lighter as the trip goes on. We are going to do the MVMCP, we cant wait, we have done the Halloween party before and the kids loved that, so I can just imagine how much they will love the christmas party. Thanks for the advice.

Just bought into OKW and our 1st trip home (as well as our 1st trip without kids ever, my Dfiance's 1st trip to WDW, and my 40th birthday) is from 10/31 - 11/5

OH! And its our 1st F&W too!

We rented a 1 bedroom to celebrate it all!
