MASS political telephone calls............

OK, spoke to soon when I said they were not calling my cellphone that still has my MASS # on it. When we moved to CA we all just kept our cell#'s as everyone knew our #'s.

WELL, last night 202-747-7306 WASH DC kept coming up on my cell. ...

I looked that # up on whitepages. It's coming up as a landline based in DC and is unpublished. What's really funny is that 'bing' says that the # is in "Westchester, DC"?

Have done a little further investigating and here's what I found out. This particular "202" number is apparently from a company called "Tele Europe" or "Tele Europe 2" that does political robo-calls. Recipients find the calling to be so obnoxious that you can GOOGLE the darn thing! The company is being utilized by politicians & groups from both side of the aisle. Tele-Europe uses at least a total of 47 different numbers. http://whocalled.us/lookup/teleeurope

Now some of the calls I received where coming up "private number" as well.

Still baffles my mind that they were able to FIND my CA landline# and call me to remind me to get to the polls........

I got a message with my first name and my town...looks like it was a true personalized call asking for my vote..

Just got back from voting -- I had to park in the back of the school. Parking lot was full but there were only about 10 people in front of me... Keeping my fingers crossed that my guy wins!

It's really tough to vote when school is in session here: It's not just the school traffic, but our high school also hosts a community college and a child-care center. Parents were all dropping the kids off at the same time I went to vote this morning.

OP, when you moved, did you have the phone provider forward your old number calls to your new number? If so, that might be how they have your new number. My DH has received cell calls too, no idea how they get that #.

Even DS9 said last night: when will we know who wins so they stop talking about it?! Incessant!!!!!!!!!!

I just got a call from some coach. I don't know which candidate he was calling for because I hung up.

OP, when you moved, did you have the phone provider forward your old number calls to your new number? If so, that might be how they have your new number.

We had two landline numbers in our MA home....one was just for my family to call me on, the other was a small business we had!

I completely canceled the "family" landline and family just called my MA cellphone once we got to CA (with no forwarding # ) as we were in corporate housing for 4 months.

My DH took the MA small business landline# and switched that over to his cell so he would not miss anyone calling the business while we were in CA.
No one from the election has called his cell at all. Just our CA landline and my cell.





I do not think at this point I will get anymore calls UNLESS the person that wins starts calling EVERYONE to thank them!!!!
