We will be in Cozumel on a Sunday, on our November Wonder cruise and would like go to Mass.

Has anyone else gone, what Church, and how hard was it to get a taxi back

We were also in Cozumel on a Sunday on our WBPC. The town was very quiet that day and there were cabs, but not a ton.

I can't help with taxis, as I haven't been to the Cayman Islands on a Sunday. I would recommend that you make arrangements with the cabdriver that takes you to church, to return to pick you up after. I can help a little bit with mass times though. The website you want is www.masstimes.org. In the search engine just search Grand Cayman, and you will find the two parishes there that have their mass times listed.

Is Cozumel part of the Caymans?

Sorry about the Cayman reference, I think the "C" place names confused me!

The advice is still solid though. Arrange for your cab driver to return after your service, and mass times.org will list Cozumel also.

Masstimes.org is a good jumping off point but I recommend calling the parish directly shortly before your trip. I've had issues (more than once) w/ the times there site not being correct. (It's not their fault, they rely on parishes providing updates, which not all are great about doing). Even checking a directly at parish websites hasn't always worked for me, since I've also had it happen (more than once) where Mass was not at the time posted on a parish's own website.

agreed, twice (in two different cities) I have walked into the church as people were walking out...real bummer when you jump through some transportation hoops to get there. I also encourage you to download the readings for that Sunday before you leave so that you can follow along in English. I attended mass in Quebec once with some printed info for the readings and found the rest of the mass quite nice since the language being spoken was different but the words are well known.

Last quick observation - I once spent a Sunday on CC. Of course, it meant no possibility of attending mass. But the peaceful places on the island offered incredible spiritual renewal!
Good luck!!

We were at sea on our trip and it was Sunday. There was a non denomination service but we did not attend. That evening in our stateroom we prayed as a family.

Our next cruise will be during Christmas and I am so looking forward to Midnight Mass onboard!

There is a small Catholic Church in Cozumel that you can walk to. When you get off the ship, you walk through the shopping area and go to the left about a mile until you come to the Plaza or square. The church is down the left street off the square 1 block. We felt very safe walking there. It seemed like it started about 10:30 or 11:00 am
