Mass DISers...Limo to/from Logan?

Does anyone from the South Shore (MA) recommend a limo service to/from Logan? I'm trying to book with one called Pride Limousine, but would like to hear some experiences anyone else has had with them or any other limo service in the area. Please chime in!

I'm actually central mass, but did want to let you know about the Logan Express out of Braintree in case you didn't know. If the limos are real pricey for you, just wanted to mention them. We use the one from Framingham and it brings 5 of us and all our luggage to the terminal for under $20 (kids are free). I think it is like $8 each way or something like that.

I'd love to have a limo show up at the door but this is just so cheap and I can leave my car free at my mother in laws that I guess I'll stick with the Express bus.

Nope, has to be door-to-door, because there's no way I'm leaving my car parked in the Braintree garage, and we only have a pickup, so there's no place for all our luggage...so many reasons not to drive, and ride the bus. Besides, this is to make up for making my family travel on Christmas day...a little more special. Anyone else have names of reputable limo companies?

We used Extreme Limo out of East Bridgewater last year. They were 10 minutes early for our pick up at the house (4:50 am ) and they were right there to meet us at Logan when we got home.

Deb, I can't believe you just posted this! I JUST booked with them for our June trip! After seeing one of their beautiful white limos turning on Rte 18 one day, I was hooked. We'll be getting one of their vans (fam of 5), they just got a new Suburban too. I'm so glad you were happy with them. We have an 8:00 am flight out of Logan, so I'm asking for them to be here at 5:15 am or so. He sounded so nice on the phone.

I decided to switch after using the same awful company in Weymouth the last 5 trips.
They used to be called Weymouth Coach, but have changed their name and I cannot remember it (but just don't use a limo service out of Weymouth). Every single trip we had at least one complaint. Why did we continue? Because they were always on time picking us up and really, when it comes right down to it, thats all that counts with me. But they were horrendous.
I don't know any companies down in Plymouth, but I'm sure someone will come thru.

Wow, that's really funny, cuz my DMom lives in E.B., and we have to pick her up on the way to the airport! So this Extreme Limo may be the one I'll try...I'll have to call them and find out their rates. Are either of you from E.B.?

Wow, thats great! I am near EB, but feel funny revealing exactly where to so many people. I know where Deb is from, but I never know if people want to reveal that, so I'll let her do the talking . Jill and Ursula--my FIL actually used to drive for Extreme, but has stopped since it was interfering with his golfing .

I think our round trip to and from Logan was $160 for a towncar (just the three of us, DH, DS, and I).

I'm in the general vicinity of EB as well, and see Barry (the owner) and his cars around all the time.

Jill--you're going to be happy with them.

I travel from Carver to Orlando frequently. I use Magic Carpet Limo all the time. They are out of Mansfield but cover most of the state. They are prompt and courtious, and have anything from a Lincoln sedan, stretches and a new Suburban.

They are anywhere from $125 to $200 each way depending on what you need for size of vehicle to either Logan or Green.

Us too! We've used Extreme Limo a few times and they were great to work with, and were on time. We used them during our 10-night hurricane cruise last year, and they were wonderful, each time I had to call them to change the dates that we'd be arriving back to Boston.

Well, just heard back from Extreme Limo, and he can't accommodate me...something about not being able to get drivers on the holidays. I guess I understand, although I'VE always worked on holidays! I guess I'll keep looking.

Let me know, Grace, how you do with Pride Limo. So far they're the only ones to offer their services, so I hope they're good.

The service was very good both directions. I think they're located on Washington Street. THey have town cars, 12 passanger vans, mini buses and limos. THe rates were also reasonable. I can't remember what we paid for the trip to the airport (maybe $140 for the mini bus for 11 of us), but we came back earlier than everyone else. We paid $65 for the return trip.

I'll try them if Pride doesn't come through, but so far, they're the cheapest, and the only ones running on the holidays. Both my departing and arriving flights are considered holiday runs, I guess. I understand Christmas day being a little hard to get drivers, but you figure SOMEONE would want to get a nice Christmas tip. And no matter where I worked, if I worked NYEve, it was straight pay, not holiday pay. One limo co. said that if I booked after 3pm, I was at the higher holiday event rate, and they didn't have airport runs after that hour. I guess that's what I get.
Anyway, Pride is the only one showing an interest so far, with only a normal tip added on for the holiday (I guess during non-holidays, they don't include tip in the rate). I plan on throwing on a really nice holiday bonus for the driver, though.

He just picked my up last night at PVD in the new suburban, nice ride. He was there waiting for us even though we were 1/2 hour early.

I cancelled Pride...they were going to charge me almost $500 for a round-trip limo ride to Logan! Heck, I could charter a plane for that amount!

I booked with AllStarLimo out of Kingston. I don't get a stretch limo, but I get an Escalade for less than half the price. Anyone have any experience with them?

Oh, and thanks, disneyrsh, and everyone else, for their recommendations. I just hope I haven't made a mistake with this company. I'll keep all your recommendations on file, in case I ever need a limo again (DS has a prom coming up next year.).
